But why was the reveal so rushed! This was supposed to be a big reveal. I guess Abhira should have been a bit more shocked to learn about the truth and then perhaps emotional and happy....Abhira as a character should have gone through mixed emotions. But I guess director and writer wanted to keep it simple.

Her & Manish's reaction when Abhir found out that his mom is not more followed by his breakdown was very lukewarm. Here the execution & direction faltered big time.

What Mohit meant I think is that Abhira might provide the needed emotional support & be there for him & eventually help him heal. I won't be surprised if Abhir breaks down yet again & Abhira holds & consoles him like a child.

Abhir as a character is not easy to portray. On the surface he is arrogant, rude, has massive anger issues but deep down he is a child craving for love and family...so there are times when cracks appear and one can see the child within him especially when he cries and breaksdown. This is not easy to portray but Mohit is doing a really good job.

I hope makers will handle his character well. The reveal kind of was lukewarm.

Exactly it was rushed and like they somehow wants to do it that's it because they planned reveal after 6 days by their brother Abhir hence.

It could have been much better. But for me it not bad either.

This happens everytime, they have potential but don't make right use of it and lacks in execution.

I don't find abhir any better..they never planned to bring him & now it's all messed up..

Why didn't he try to locate akshara when he grew up ?

Like he was not a baby, he had full knowledge of their contacts, address ,of birlas & goenkas..

Why is it that he knows about Manish but not akshara ?

he believed his mother is alive ? Why? I thot he would believe his mother & abhimanyu died in the landslide ? If they're believed to be dead he shouldn't think she must be alive ..if he thinks they're alive why not locate them instead

Manish never tried to locate them even after Abhira's IR he didn't made any efforts to find out about Abhir but now when he met him will be ask where was he and how he survived?

If the makers try to show that Abhira just forgives everybody because she has no family left I'll be disappointed. No one should have to do and forget and forgive people easily because they have no one else to call their own. Hopefully, having Abhir will change that mindset of hers. We don't know yet. I'm rooting for a separation track coz I like Abhimaan separation, their angst more than their cringey love story (specially because their love story had zero build-up). At this point Abhira is a pushover, a doormat giving heroic dialogues that are lukewarm at best.
