the same way Iqtidar got 265M in 22 episodes a/c to LP. Based on epi views, it is around 195M. That's 70M difference.

the same way Bismil got 300M in 29 episodes a/c to LP. Based on epi views, it is around 220M. That's 80M difference.

the same way TCM got 275 million after 22 episodes a/c to LP.

the same way GM got 200 million after 27 episodes a/c to LP

it is obvious the way this portal counts views is based on episodes + teasers + promos etc.

I do find this interesting that all questions on how views are calculated come for this show but not all the other shows the same portal is reporting views for currently or previously

Views aren't that bad considering how bad storyline is.

How much longer is her looks going to hold her up because let’s be honest her talent in acting is ZERO. I know QEJ getting praise and high trps is burning losers like him who are relying on Maya creating OUT OF THIS WORLD chemistry to get relevancy in this industry as oppose to doing a decent job at acting. SMD regained her some relevancy that she severely lacked these past few years what with the back to back flops that were being delivered by their FILM STAR!🥱

For all those asking about the 320M YT views # for SMD reported by LP. While I do not know the exact formula used by LP, it is evident that they use more than just episode views to report TOTAL YT views. This is the case not just for SMD but also for other shows whose total YT views were reported by LP in the last month (namely, Iqtidar, Bismil, TCM).

To verify whether LP is lying about SMD numbers (as some IF members are inclined to think), I tried four different methods to calculate YT views for SMD:

METHOD 1 counts views for: Episodes + Teasers, Promos, Recaps after SMD started to air + Teasers, Promos before SMD went on air + OST + Short clips, Best Scenes, Best Moments + Shorts

METHOD 2 counts views for: Episodes + Teasers, Promos, Recaps after SMD started to air + Teasers, Promos before SMD went on air + OST + Short clips, Best Scenes, Best Moments + Teasers for E2-E17 uploaded to GEO Entertainment.

METHOD 3 counts views for: Episodes + Teasers, Promos, Recaps after SMD started to air + Teasers, Promos before SMD went on air + OST + Short clips, Best Scenes, Best Moments + Shorts + Teasers for E2-E17 uploaded to GEO Entertainment.

As you can see Methods 1-3 all aggregate to around 320M.

Even if you prefer a more parsimonious approach (METHOD 4), and limit yourself to just views on episodes, teasers, promos, recaps and ost (and exclude shorts and clips), the TOTAL YT views come to 316M (which isn't too far off from 320M).

Hope this lays to rest concerns about LP inflating SMD views. People are welcome to try this approach to validate #s for Bismil and other shows that LP has also reported on. As I said in my earlier post, the difference between episode views of Iqtidar and Bismil vs their views reported by LP is in the range of > 70M-80M.
