Or he "pretend" to let her works with Shubh and that will be the next MU because Ashubh has something else in mind more than what Vandy and Cie think.

Hmm, because beginning she felt like you said saddened but them she smiled. Or maybe she learned about Vandy and Cie plotting.

They showed Ammu noticing there is someone behind him... which may be used later on to make her figure there was more going on...

BUT

That's a gully / mohalla / road / parking lot ... koi na koi to rahega hi... She asked as if he is sitting in a room / office and she noticed someone peeping in from an ajar door. When he said 'koi bhi nahi hai yahan pe' there was a man standing behind - the employee of the club. Didn't make him think she may have been talking about him.

Another screenwriting ka beauty. Noticing ex there was worth asking the question.... or noticing someone suspicious / keeping an eye on him was worth it too. Chalo... screenplay may be fine... but not the dialogue. "Arre.. priyanka???" or "aisa laga koi aap pe nazar rakh raha hai" would've been better.

She may lose her job too - she may be busy with saving Virat and be absent from work, and perhaps left with no other option than working with Shubh. Sinister me wants him to be unhappy that she is working with him and her 'patao'ing or 'manao'ing him that its fine... "we need the money"... since he may have been thrown out of his taxi job too. May be he is upset that taxi job bhi haath se gayi and its her calming him down.

God! If only all these reality slaps happened to him after she left!!!! All these are apt karma visiting him again for the things he had done to her. Him being alone (without her around) would've been so much better!!! A huge missed opportunity from the writers... her presence takes away all the impact from the things happening to him... and I don't think he recognises it either. Alas!!!

btw... figured Vandy and 'Cie' is Vandy and Co. Had thought it is a typo / autocorrect a couple of times. [Terrasse, Sensible, and now Cie... teen words to seekhe hai French ke ab tak.]

[in a way poora ka poora maile cloth me ek aur dhabbe se kya farak padta hai? Exaggeration of course, but dialogue aisa likha hai jaise its a killer one... aur bolne wali ke muh se toh aur bhi killer one lag raha hai. ]
