So, I haven't caught up on the show in a while, but I came across multiple reels of this Shanaya monologue, so I decided to catch up on the most recent episodes at least and... where did this come from? It feels like such a last-minute decision, I mean, the show goes on off-air next Friday.
Don't get me wrong, it was the most entertaining I've found the show in a LONG time. It was obviously meant to be sad at certain points (and it was), but it was mostly unhinged and hilarious. (Before Daadi showed up, at least, I wanted to put her on mute and just listen to Shanaya speak.) But like, it's been THREE EPISODES and she's still ranting. We don't have time for this, there are so many more loose ends left to tie up before the show ends and Shanaya has gone from talking about how no one loves her to wanting to commit suicide to... fighting for gender equality??
This is so weird.
