Divyangana Jain who was last seen playing a powerful character in Udti Ka Naam Rajjo, will be seen in a dynamic negative role in Balaji Telefilms' upcoming show starring Karan Patel and Divyanka Tripathi for Sony TV.

Czarina of television Ekta Kapoor’s banner Balaji Telefilms plans to make a resounding start to the New Year 2025 with a next fiction launch which will be for Sony TV. The show which will be a mature love story, will bring back the magic of two hugely popular actors Karan Patel and Divyanka Tripathi. Karan and Divyanka have been Balaji Telefilms’ most popular onscreen Jodi to date, after their success with Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.

For the uninitiated, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, the show was about the lives of Ishita and Raman, who hail from two different states and are poles apart from each other. The two decide to marry each other for the sake of the latter’s daughter and eventually fall in love.

Karan Patel and Divyanka Tripathi are all set to ignite the small screen again, with their new show on Sony TV. This will be a mature love story and this will surely bring them back on the TV screens in very poignant and engaging roles.

We at IWMBuzz.com hear that actress Divyangana Jain who was last seen playing the main negative role in Star Plus’ Udti Ka Naam Rajjo, has been roped in to play the main negative role in the Balaji Telefilms’ show. Divyangana’s portrayal of Kalindi was much appreciated by the audience in her earlier show.

As per a reliable source, “Divyangana has been roped in for a powerful negative role in the show.”

We buzzed Divyangana but did not get through to her.

We reached out to the channel spokesperson but did not get revert till we filed the story.

So is it officially confirmed that DT and KP are coming together?

An official confirmation is yet to be received. But it is most likely now that they may reunite.

Honestly I thought it was just PR. But after this even I am now confused. There were so many articles from different news media outlets about KP-DT new show. And now they are publishing news about side casts tagging KP-DT! If the news comes untrue, then no one will believe in their exclusive/breaking news in future. Can they be that much desper for PR??

PR is usually ruthless but you're right. Their creditability and reputation are in stake. That's why I said most likely the main news - DT & KP reuniting for EK's new show- seems to be true. Other things - side casts, timing, schedule, air date etc may change over time.

By the way, too many negative leads. I doubt the show is gonna conclude in 150 episodes or in 8 to 10 months!

Like I said, all these are speculations. It's a fictional drama, so they will be many negative roles but I don't think there will be more than one or two negative lead(s). Time format- 150 episodes initially but will it be a daily or weekly? I doubt about the show being a daily one. Sony TV is going through a complete revamp, they are quite adamant about it. I think the story will be quite crisp and engaging. In that case a weekly one - two episodes (40-45 minutes long each) on weekends- looks more plausible. So it can go well over one and half years. Then again, they can go for seasons depending upon audience response. So, it's all conjectures at the moment. I guess things will be clearer in January 2025 after Christmas and year-end vacations.

As per news show will go on floor in Jan 25 so we will get more news in Dec for sure..Since they r now casting side characters looks like news is true of dt kp reuniting rather than just a rumour..

"Dynamic negative role"...what does that mean? Is she the negative lead? I am not sure about the casting...this one and Urvashi. Overacting and exaggerated expressions ruin the whole plot. Let's be honest, Anita was superb as Shagun. Comparisons are bound to happen. They need to cast actors who have looks as well as solid acting skills. Not everything is for "high octane drama" if your target audience is "mature love story".
