No she is promoting Humsha a lot and said that the role is very special to her. If she doesn’t turn positive then there is no difference between Humsha and the vamp she is already playing in JSPJ

I mean negative roles have a lot of scope too so the role could still be special to her. She could have a redemption arc I suppose but I’m not seeing that happen anytime soon.

With the blood donor angle gone, only her truth can unite Bilal and Sadaf

You give SMD a chance until the 16th episode. The scenario won't make sense. If the characters' lines can't be straight. In my opinion, the series is garbage. The character of Sadaf is written in a stupid, stupid way...

Yes exactly..Hiram mani always choses good roles or a role which has an arc...definitely there is going to be something here

I'm not sure I see a redemption arc. Remember her fiance gave her a baddua. Or KRQ may make her flip like a switch like Mifra did in GM which made zero sense tbh.

PTV version so maybe Sadaf will divorce Ammar and then reconnect with BA.

Yeah she would have to get a divorce and then go through her iddat period for them to be together. They are showing time jumps here so it’s possible.

I just feel the build up of conflict in Sadaf’s mind should have shown a bit more clearly.

I thought it was pretty evident, no? Once that 8-crore deal was done and dusted, she was grateful to BA for all his help - finding a donor, expediting the process, arranging the whole process etc. Even when Humsha badmouthed BA with Sadaf (after Bilal and Zaaviyar had left to US), Sadaf tried to defend him. It was to Humsha's credit that she knew exactly what to tell to sway Sadaf's trust. Sadaf already knew about Bilal's vices - heard from the man himself, so she has solid evidence on his 'character', there is nothing for her to mistrust there. It was a matter of believing the supplementary facts provided by Humsha

Her conflict was quite obvious when Farzana spoke about how she believe that Bilal will bring a proposal for her and then when she kept thinking about all those in her room. So she went ahead and made the impulsive decision of agreeing to marry her friend - a friend who she knew better, who claims to love her.

But even without giving monologues to explicitly explain her pov, her conflict was apparent - like how she slightly froze when Zaaviyar said 'there is no one like Bilal', her reluctance when her mother asked to call Bilal to invite for dinner, when Zaviyaar was talking about how Bilal was treating him as a brother etc. I thought all those were enough to clarify the way the wheels are turning in her head, no?

I think it’s also very important to note that Humsha manipulates by using the truth. She doesn’t just make things up but uses facts to her advantage. Bilal drinks, he has flings with women, doesn’t believe in marriage…all things that have been confirmed by Bilal himself. Then she uses a true story from his childhood…his mother leaving him and his father for another woman to further prove her point. Here she twists the truth. He’s distrusting towards women but she made it about him hating women. Also Humsha doesn’t straight up lie when she tells Sadaf that Bilal has been super excited about coming to Sadaf’s house, that he has decided that he wants to get married…all truths. She casually adds in a lie about him not giving up if a girl resists. Most of her lies are not in the facts but in Bilal’s motivations. Add to that Bilal’s inability to hold in his excitement in front of Sadaf, that she automatically believes everything. Humsha meanwhile has started manipulating Bilal as well telling him to approach Sadaf’s mom first. Sadaf sees her mom’s excitement as well and doesn’t feel like she’s thinking clearly.

Totally agree with this. These are the worst kind of lies, because you show the real truth and sprinkle some of lies on top of it, so, when the other person sees the truth, they are going to believe the truth along with the accompanying lies. She is a 'Half-truth witch' (I used to use this term for Haya, but it is more apt for Humshasmiley2), a more intelligent version, hence way more manipulative and dangerous!

And also since she maintains 'friendship' with all parties, she expertly exploits everyone - she tells Bilal to talk with Sadaf's mother and then goes to tell Sadaf that he is going to talk with your mother. I am glad that Bilal requested to talk to Sadaf, at least they will have a one-on-one conversation (as Bilal baba wanted smiley2 - chalo one-on-one heartbreak ho jaye!)
