Ary has always been the better one. Hum only airs one or two good show a year and many time the show they promote as good ones turs out to be far regressive.

SMD has too many problems but its still far superior to the stuff Geo usually puts out. It's paying for the sins of their regular trash content.

Hmm I don’t know. I only watched first episodes. Some dialogues though are problematic.

The two lowest ones for Geo were:

• Mujhe Qubool Nahi [2023] (although MQN got trp in the 8s in a few weeks, it also got trp in 4s and 5s several weeks, so the average is around 5.5)
• Ishq Hua [2024] (it never got trp higher than 6s I think and most weeks, the trp stayed in the 5s)

Geo needs to really look into what its content team is doing. How come these same writers are giving crap nonsense scripts to Geo and better scripts to other channels.

• Sadia Akhtar who wrote AIEJ is also writer of Dil-e-Nadaan which is a terrible show from all accounts that makes no sense. Amma calls Amar ka character Mr. Bean because she's so dumb.
• Zanjabeel gave GEO a Shiddat and a Noor Jahan and Bismil to ARY.
• Adeel Razzaq gave GEO Mujhe Qubool Nahi in 2023 but Sar-e0Rah to ARY in same year.

This is a good year for Sherry, boy is getting married in a few weeks and has had two major hits back to back

Shuja still can't act to me but he seems to be picking scripts that are mostly successful

So two show with lowest trp are on the same year. Its really a bad year for Geo.

Just like actors also go ott for Geo. I remember Hiba was subtle in Rad while ott in JN. In Geo writers are asked to write crappy scenes to make it a hit. Zanjabeel said how she was asked to add slap scenes to make it a hit. The production house even itself is a mysigionist. Anyway I don't even blame them when Sadias crap drama like Meesni was bluckbuster most likely she was asked to write similar story. Even Sadias Dagh e dil was better than what she is writing for Geo. Its not a coincidence. Also its good that viewers are also evolving otherwise there was a time when every crap of geo was getting ratings.

Sadia is actually really good witer. I am not even surprised by AEIJ sucess. Especially her grey characters are we written. Sadia is also the same writer who wrote Deewangi which was atleast 10 times better than any crap thats beingproduced on geo. I have noticed geo storyline getting worse and worse. Atleast some years ago it used to be entertaining.

in dramas script has the star power.

kmkt replaced burns road which was super flop . 3-4 trp hence it took time to pickup . still it got 8-10 trp . which was 2nd or 3rd at that time .

while AIEJ has got strong base as it replaced an extremely popular show with 16-17 rating . it is good so maintaining the audience .

overall AIEJ has neither surpassed KMKT in terms of trp or views . kmkt is still talk of the town and rightly so.
