the ones who get views but no ratings & the ones who get ratings but no views are more or less equally dud tbh in terms of connecting with the audience

. DNUTN used to come in tv one . Which is a very unknown channel ,still it became so popular . I agree dnutn can be compared with the likes of jbj , manjogi - coz they are content based good scripts with mind-boggling acting from yumna , wahaj , Nauman izaz and other casts . This is wahaj's second big project that he's headlining and for some reasons (bad script, poor direction and editing, flop era of geo) it isn't doing that well. So it's not wahaj's responsibility to take up the onus for it's failure. Hits and flops are part and parcel of this industry, all actors have flops in their career. Nobody is a hit machine here. Something works, something doesn't.
When the biggest superstar of the country humayun saeed hasn't acknowledged his failed comeback project gentleman and has conveniently moved on to other project's then why should wahaj do that when in fact the show isn't even finished yet?? Are there different rules for different actor's? Why does wahaj need this special treatment?

Wahaj is as close to over Hypno. He has wasted his opportunities. This is not the first time some male actor got crazy hype. Ahad and Sahad started the trend of mad fan following and Ahad was the next big thanggggggg everywhere. He squandered it with Humtum and Yeh dil mera..in his case though..script selection was good..his acting was horrible in those two. Wahaj sleepwalked through Mein and SMD is just basically a car crash from the reactions coming in and has become troll material similar to GM. Thats not a good place to be in. If a project is good and it flops..atleast people will remember your acting skills, like JBG..thats not the case with SMD. Its not just a flop..and before people come at me with views yada yada..hate watching blah blah blah..this is about his equity getting affected, which I dont think his fans just mindlessly defending this..and then pulling out other shows which have nothing to do with Wahaj..understand. and funny enough..Yumzieeee is back in the good books, even after a massive failure of GM..because she chose a script which reflects her choices before TB happened. and already a new batch of fresh male actors have emerged - Namreen, Ali, Shuja or Khusshal will emerge as the new face of male actor to look forward to..lets see who makes it over there first...and rabbitty Hamza Sohail also has a sizeable fan following because of FT.
