Yikes They keep one upping each other in proving their partner is awful.

When you are a celebrity you have your personal life and your life on camera/ for the public. Of course we don’t know their personal life off camera… but would it kill them not to make each other look bad? It’s not that hard to say positive things about each other…they are sufficiently media trained to say my partner si awesome/ amazing I don’t see other couples doing this… I really think Deepu, Kat and Sid dodged a bullet.

However, the context seems to be that not everyone today knows Kishore Kumar, and he’s cleverly, or manipulatively, not mentioning that she was just a 9 year old kid when he first met her. Whether he just wanted to campaign for this movie and threw his wife under the bus, or he used the situation in the moment to embarrass his wife intentionally, is honestly up for debate. Either way he knew full well that he was manipulating and omitting some facts for his own argument’s sake, so whatever trolling Alia will get from this is on him.

If after the past couple of years these two still talk about each other then either they’re both incredibly stupid or just stunningly conniving. Or both 🤷🏽‍♀️

It can also be a PR move to stay in news. Both say something like this about each other n they r all over social media. Free ki publicity.

Like alia always say something which adds to Ranbir's existing image of red flag n Ranbir said something which adds to alia's existing image of not having basic GK n sounding dumb. Even audience reaction was same as trollers n said "what n laughed".

So it becomes believable for public that what they said was true n not made up.

When their movies r not coming they may be using this tactic to stay relevant.

For such large events and huge star like Ranbir, there is no such thing as candid questions. They are given all the questions ahead of time, so they can prepare answers ( I know this because even in my company, anything… even small things like meetings, we send contents/ agenda/ questions ahead of time, to avoid surprises and that is the norm now)

ranbir likely could have given any anecdote or said someone I know didn’t know Kishorkumar…. He chose to name drop Alia. Which I don’t believe was ever by “accident”. Lol.

As a neutral audience, keep the mess coming. It’s hilarious and cringe to see these two take it out on each other.

Bold part. Exactly my point. At one point we would laugh it off but now he should stop doing this. This was not in a good taste. Then tomorrow he will say I don't know why social media audience troll me, i am such a good guy. Not sure if he wants audience to love alia more?

They act like any other arranged marriage couple who don't like each other but are now stuck. They keep taking jabs in the guise of jokes. Ranbir has been in the media for 20 years now and knows very well how a statement like this in going to play out in the media. I think it's a little payback for her "wipe it off" drama that really backfired on him.

They remind me of Maheep and Sanjay Kapoor.

If it is really for pr / to stay relevant it casts a poor taste on their relationship or are there moments when one can notice that they do this to mock people (to laugh about how they get trolled)?
