Interesting. So what you're saying is - unless Ani is there as a point of contention between Arshi and Jhanak, his character will become sidelined to just stand on the sidelines and cheer for Jhanak?
Basically meaning, ITV or atleast Leena is incapable of writing supportive husbands/partners for a show cuz then they would be rendered useless in the story? Their only relevance is if they are a piece of meat for two women to fight over?
Poor Ani....he is the only interesting character in the story but his worth is only derived from how much two women can fight over him....lol...but will this still remain a TRP driver if they render him the father of Arshi's child, that too a child conceived after violating him like this?
Bold 1 - Not sure if it came across as my perspective, I was trying to read Leena's mind. Personally, I would love to see Ani involved in other aspects of his life beyond the two sisters. However, Leena doesn't seem inclined to explore this, perhaps because she feels it isn't relevant to the story, or she believes that Ani's love life with Jhanak and Arshi is all that matters to the audience. At least thats all she has focussed on since Jhanak left BH.
Bold 2 - I really hope Leena shelves the pregnancy track and comes up with logical ways of showing relationship conflicts. I hate that sheโs building this regressive storyline on the assumption that men can tolerate violations and are expected to take responsibility for the consequences of the assault. But Iโm unsure how the TRP audience will react to this given the inconsistent flip-flopping dialogues for the characters. With the narrative constantly shifting, while we analyze, discuss and clarify things here, I wonder how they manage to keep up with all the twists and turns.
