Is show ne hum sabko mentally condition kar diya hai ki strong/vocal Ani zyada dino tak rehne nahin dete.....lol the HA track ka progression jaise undo kiya gaya hai, uske baad toh yehi lagta hai ki they only give Ani some moments of being strongly vocal before some situation arises to make him capitulate in front of his family ka pressure again.

They will just repeat that cycle on a loop to force Arshi into the narrative....and yes that sadly undermines Ani's strong phases also and makes him end up looking weak and passive overall.

Maybe that's true...

But the way I see it, in this show if Ani doesn't do anything toh rarely anybody does anything...

I guess Aag track is the only one in which he was on RC's side and Meenu supported Jhanak. It wasn't being quiet per say it was his choice to support RC.

In Mumbai track also, it was his choice to support RC and he was firmly fixed on moving on from Jhank... He tried to be mostly uninvolved in Jhanak's issues...

So, it wasn't like he was majboor to be quiet...

In this current lame court track, he wasn't involved till now, but now he is and they're highlighting that quiet a bit...

Kuch bhi progress aata he Ani ke muh kholne se hi aata he be it positive or negative in this show, In my pov...

And when he asked RC to stay back also it was HIS choice, because he was feeling bad for her according to his own dialogues.

Family pressure might be one of the reasons but I think the Major reason is his soft corner towards RC, which needs to be addressed immediately, because for me, family pressure hi reason hota toh accha hota, but clearly that's not true...

Which was a bitter pill to swallow for me by the way...

And in that RC didi pregnant track, even if they keep him mum...

(which is highly unlikely to me based on his character graph, but don't know, cause Leena Maata ki jai ho),

then as @sanfan suggested, maybe Jhanak will do something...

But Ani ka always kuch toh stand hoga be it against Jhanak or in favour of jhanak. I think he'll never be quiet and takes a stand based on what he believes in to be true...

But wo truth kya he at that point, that's the question...

I wouldn't even call it a soft corner...it's not like he feels a particular level of compassion for Arshi. He has been shown as a soft hearted person overall who always gives empathy to someone who is in a bad state. He is more volatile about it in Jhanak's case because there are actually deep/raw emotions involved there. But in Arshi's case, it is basically the general empathy you have towards a person who is crying about their hurt. He was shown saying in his monologue that he asked Arshi to stay cuz he felt bad for her. And this was proven by the fact that he was not paying any attention to her in the room and still sitting in depression lost in his thoughts about Jhanak.

Apart from that, his family relentlessly pressurizes him to stay with Arshi....so I think it's a combination of these factors that made him ask her to stay. He gives her some humanity on a practical level that ok I will try to stay with this person if everyone is asking me to....but Arshi constantly burns through that limited compassion he tries to give her by lashing out in her hate over Jhanak....that is when he loses patience and again tells her to leave if she isn't happy staying here

If it was an actual soft corner, he would be shown making more effort to make Arshi happy....but he doesn't do that. He reluctantly gives in to the pressure of everyone demanding he stay with Arshi but isn't able to do more than that. That is why he was shocked and uncomfortable about the baby planning discussion also. Arshi and his family are in their own delusion where they think if he agrees for one thing, that means they are fully controlling him.

DNA test ka khayaal itni jaldi aa gaya toh one more week court case kaise kheenchenge?

Sabki batti der se hi jalegi taaki same baatein 100 baar aur repeat karke usmein se 10-15 episode aur nikaal lein
