So, it's a matter of "I scratch your back and you scratch my back" (or "You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours"), it seems...

It makes me sad...12th Fail had been based on a biography of a (living) man and had been an uplifting movie... why did he even choose to star in this movie...and associate himself with certain political persons???

I would like to give him the benefit of doubt..coz his isn’t a one off case..there r many like him..not only celebs, even among common people who r not n example of ‘u scratch my back, I scratch yours.

Anyone who has been fed the propaganda would believe it. When he started working on the movie he came across the facts. His interviews mention this.
He even said that contrary to what he believed, minorities r actually thriving in this country. It is very much visible to anyone who is willing to pay attention.

The "scratching your back" had been - from my side - about the producer, not about Vikram...

Nevertheless, I'm feeling a bit sad that Vikram catered to a narrative that suits to a political agenda... (and I'm not judging about 'right' or 'wrong' when it comes to the incident's narrations)
