the things that they just don’t understand baffles me. Like basic things that are so obvious. Yes Usama is faking it, and Humsha likes Bilal. They’re trying to figure out how Humsha and Ammar are related and are upset that they haven’t shown that. They’re criticizing the fact that Humsha doesn’t have a motive when it’s clear as day that she does.
Given how obsessed Haseeb is in thoonsofying zabardasti ki mysteries in SMD, I think the directorial intent was to create a mystery whether Humsha likes Bilal or Amaar. On one hand, Humsha is stroking BA's pen in his office (no pun intended) and on the other, she is also super extra touchy feely with Amaar (and Amaar with her). I think Haseeb added the touchy feely dynamics as a red herring so as to create a mystery as to who Humsha likes. Otherwise I fail to understand why these two are so overtly handsy. But the end result of this red herring is not intrigue but confusion. This is because the mystery was never intended in the script but added by the director.
no pun intended 😂 She wasn’t just stroking his pen, but she was gazing back at him in disappointment when Bilal was thinking of Sadaf as she left. I get that there may be some intrigue but the signs are pretty loud or you can at least try to infer. Maybe I’m expecting too much but if they are taking on reviewing shows, I feel they should be able to pick up this much. Most people watching have been able to. She’s said stuff too that hints towards this. Persuading Sadaf away from Bilal, telling Ammar that she too was scared when Sadaf started working at the hotel. Maybe a casual viewer who is distracted while watching could have missed it, but if you’re making a career out of watching these shows, at least acknowledge these things that have happened. If they acknowledged this but were still confused about Ammar and Humsha’s closeness then I would get it but it’s like that whole part went over their heads. If they’re missing some of these obvious points in the story, I’m not sure how qualified they are to critique it.Originally posted by: hypnotoad

The touchy feely relationship with Ammar is bizarre but I feel they both know how to use each other and it’s part of that weird dynamic. It’s so uncomfortable to watch at times.
SH has their own agenda. They clout chase, flip flop, say one thing and the next time pretend like they didn’t say it. Hassan loved Wahaj’s performance until last week and now he thinks he needs to reevaluate his whole career 😂 To be fair, I still don’t think he had any problems with his performance but just wants him in a more fun, youthful role. Not only them, even some of SH’s criticism don’t make sense. These women just seem to be missing the most obvious things and I couldn’t tell if they were pretending or were for real.

But it’s all useless cos the teasers already spoiled who she likes
Speaking of Humsha, I have a question about her. Did anyone notice how she seemed to want Faraaz to come over while Ammar was there…like she planned it that way. I wonder if that’s part of some elaborate plan.

Omg I saw a bit more of that Kya drama hai ladies. There was a link I should not have followed. I sincerely can’t figure out if they’re pretending or if they’re for real. Like fine, I can understand if they just don’t like the show or the acting. If they are trolling the pace, I get it but the things that they just don’t understand baffles me. Also that Marina lady was basically laughing at Zaviyaar because he was scared and hesitating about the treatment. She thought it was nonsensical and ridiculous that he would come all the way to America and have these hesitations. Like what? People walk into a hospital with a scheduled life saving procedure and chicken out and he’s just a teen. It’s a huge thing to go through with so much on the line. It would be one thing to say they didn’t need that scene but she just mocked it like no one would ever react that way.
I completely understand if they felt too much of time was spent on Zaviyaar, Ammar or Humsha. Perhaps their scenes were unneeded and unnecessarily long or they didn’t like the scenes or the acting. However they don’t understand basic human emotion or information that is not so subtly put in. They cannot be that dumb. There’s no way!
When I read Shakespeare in high school, I used to read supplemental notes to figure what was being said as well as the themes, symbolism and other literary devices included. I feel like they need that here for a very basic play that is pretty obviously putting everything out there, because honestly they aren’t able to pick up on anything. I’m shocked.
SMD is so slow yet they are having issues understanding it. Maybe they wanted Dora the explorer like treatment of explaining every scene
They didn't even get why Ammi and Sadaf didn't go to USA

May be that’s part of KRQ’s misogynistic writing to show that Humsha is a woman of low morals

Maybe she is trying to protect herself, from the looks of it Faraj was abusing her
