It's better that aamna and Hassan aren't reviewing it. Even if they do they will only do that half heartedly and only for clout chasing. They will just simply roast it and make some inappropriate comment and move on.

And they judge it way too harshly vis a vis a big name show, its flaws are highlighted while the flaws of other big shows are minimised. The fact that the FL is so brave and outspoken in contrast to any of the other FLs should itself be a major selling point.

It was supposed to be her original name, something like Qurutulain, half of the show would’ve been spent just trying to pronounce it. So, they wisely switched to Mehrunnissa to save everyone the struggle. If it were a title role for the female lead, it wouldn’t have done justice to the story. The male lead has just as much weight in this one. They actually gave the actress a script with a female lead name and the actor one with a male lead name. At one point, they almost went with Qatil Dildaar (the one suggested it must be high on something), but then sanity kicked in, and someone with a little bit of common sense suggested the final title.

I give up on these image hosting sites, sometimes the bb codes work, sometimes they dont.

I glad they don't. They ruin all the fun by being too critical. SH was ruining Duniyapur for me bcoz they wanted Ramsha's character to become ruthless and scary all of a sudden..which doesn't make sense to me but I quite like how we can see her insecurities+old self in this new role. Similarly that Galaxy Lollywood Amma was criticising Mehru for taking ShahNawaz's help when her mum was in the hospital while it made sense

Finally got time to catch up on the episodes. All I can say is that neither of the men in Mehru's life has any common sense.

Rafay knowingly listens to the gossip given by the girl he rejected and thinks she has his best interest at heart. He lets her dictate whether or not he picks up the call instead of chatting with Mehru himself because he is such a coward. Instead of directly asking her about the flowers, he makes snarky comments and she is too tired to care and would rather have a cup of chai. Yes, Mehru has the right priorities. No point in arguing with vague accusations when she has no clue.

Then there's Shaw who is gulping water and coughing when mama yells at Dawood to find the snitch. While Dawood's eyes are popping out (yes, thats all I saw while these two were chatting on the road), he asks the very girl at the centre of controversy for a cup of coffee -- oh, there is also other bodyguards to witness but he thinks none of the fellas gossip? Seriously???

Then, when watchman does not allow her to enter, he brings her into his house where there is a million people who would have seen her and has a cup of coffee with her. Right, mama will not figure out her own son is the snitch.

Seriously, how can both men be without brains? And there is Mehru whose attitude is "don't call me, there is computer to engage". Go keep playing games or watching dramas or whatever it you do online Mehru.
