She is calling out poddar family regressivess, which is right. However, she herself has never done anything to fight against it, which makes her a part of the problem. Rather she aag lagaoed to vidya when abhira was working before her wedding.

She always used poddars regressive thinking for her own benefit like Ab name change or about how Ab is unfit to be bahu because of ber career and so much more.

So now when it's coming on her head no one will have sympathy as she herself is same to others.

Initial episodes she always used to say my matashree and poppy were doctors do I know everything.

But truth is she knows nothing and cannot see beyond her selfish motives.
