This I agree & know that they will somehow use this situation to only get them closer to each other. I know the makers have dialed the toxicity to level 100, but the one thing they have kept consistent across the entire year is Abhimaan's relationship. In every situation they have ensured that these 2 remain together because both are mature adults that actually communicate with each other, rather than allow something else or someone else come between them & create an MU (Even during their deal shaadi & the rumaal phase)
