Finished watching my boss on viki ..

The best aspects of this show ..

1. One of the employees..bao rui 👌 he makes me laugh so hard , he's abs adorable . All the employees, specially the close circle of the fl , her collegues , they're adorable ..the office environment is very positive & their camaraderie is worth a watch

2. The mls mother ..again..she makes me laugh so hard Her scenes are the best in the show 😍 abs hilarious 😂

3. The mls Best friend & partner wu Jung... Again a very very adorable character in the show ..

This show is worth a watch if I put together these 3 ..along with that the leads 😍 I know , the narcissist boss & naive employee has been done to death but then..if I like the actors and the characters, I'm willing to watch the same thing over and over ..their story was cliche but still nice to watch ..although he bullies her , he's very mean to her for a long long while , he's toxic at times , he seems heartless , but still, his transformation is what pulled me in ..she on the other hand is very naive , very resilient , very optimistic but quick to adapt...Quick to learn ..quick to forgive too..their romance is cute..in no time he gets so used to her tht he wanted just her..but always keep the facade of the Stern boss🤣

I'm glad the story follows a straight path and no secrets are held for long ..

Compared to the leads , wu Jung and fls sister , their story is better , n both r more mature than them ..

One particular scene where the ml scolds the fl very hard coz of a case & how her colleagues help her out , get scolded in her place , it was very nicely done

It just didn't end well that's it ..there were better ways to punish the ex husband ..also the whole drifting apart was hurtful ..I just keep telling myself this is what happens when the couples are mismatched ..she knows she went too hard on him yet continues to maintain distance .it wasn't insecurity, it was inferiority complex..when she believed she's no match to him & she can't be in future ..

Ek toh I can never understand why these girls think that they need to prove themselves just by themselves ..What's the harm in having a good platform where they're well supported ? Even with the backing , if they're not talented enuf , they can't go that far ..is this self respect or ego ? It was almost as if shes guilty of falling in love with him

Also , in almost all these shows, the fl decides to take a break & it's just the ml who's longing for the fl , miss her badly , do these girls not feel any emotion ?

A long rant i suppose..but I enjoyed the show 😛

Just finished Go ahead.. I'm new to cdramas so I am totally odd one out here discussing all old shows..lol..I wanted to watch other works of seven tan after watching her in As beautiful as you..

Go ahead is the best written Cdrama I have seen till date.. Effortlessly it has the best story and the way they handled all the relationships was too good.. I so miss the lead pair and would have loved to see their marriage or more of their couple scenes..

I'm totally into cdramas after watching so many of them 😁 i have my favs in kdramas but they end in 16 epis 🤨 which makes me sad..36-40 epis are good if you like the show ..they also end very soon

Plus , I like the female leads of cdramas better..they have better characters & better scope ..the fls here are the fulcrum of the story..at least the shows I've seen ..

My first c drama is as beautiful as you.. It's like my crux...i loved it so so much... I literally started watching other works of xu kai from it and started with FL Tan song next.. Go ahead was too good for me..

Chinese drama FL characters bring so much to the table and literally make the story interesting..Only thing that puts me off is all FL have bangs and short hair and are in trousers all the time( few Exception).. Like boyish .. I keep thinking like why can't they dress up in like women clothes..

Of late the women I've seen were gorgeous ..the fl of as beautiful as you looked nice with short hair ..bangs I didn't notice The fl of only for.love also looked gorgeous ..the fl of wonderland of love also looked gorgeous ...the fl of the double was also very beautiful ..the fl of who rules the world & hidden love , i always loves her ....the fl of my boss was mesmerizingly beautiful ..infact all these ladies were. The fl of you are my glory is also very pretty..

All are beautiful and are excellent in their skills no doubt about it... I am just turned off by the monotonous bangs and shorts .. In ASOL that Fl had long hair..zhao lusi seems to have long hair in hidden love and these are what looks beautiful/feminine to me.. Just my personal preference

As described by my friends beautifully, it's truly a mind blowing show 💙 it will make it to my top 3 ..when it comes to love stories, hidden love was my fav in cdramaa but you are my glory is as good ..what a journey ! Yu tu and Qin jinjing are engraved in my heart forever ..

Yang yang uff ! If u haven't seen a show of this dude you are missing something in life he's incredible in this one too..the first half of the show , he is mindblowing with his conflicts , complexities & confusion , which he portrays not in words but by his expressions ..second half he transforms into this adorable lover boy , crazily in love ..

Jinjing is as good as him, matches upto him perfectly..her role of a top star is not cliche ..she's jot dumb, she's too mature for her age , very grounded , practical and silently in love with this guy who rejected her in high school ..he really makes it upto her ..2 scenes in which I find her abs mind blowing is 1, where she brushes off her ex..I'd say I'll send her to all the ex's and give them an earful😅 2 is at the time of their wedding when she convinced him to have a group wedding & plus when she tells her friend why she chose yu tu..she had an obscene amount of money , why would she care for that ? And even if she didn't have she would've earned it , if she didn't, why wouldn't she be with him ?

The best aspect of their story is how they come together and hold it in , joyfully & everything else became secondary but still imp..their career , dreams , money , the family plans ..it's very inspiring to watch actually..

See this is what I was trying to tell in my boss ..whether it's a rich boy poor girl trope or vice versa, why is there a constant need to prove themselves and match upto the other ? What you think is what you believe and what you believe is how you start acting & then it becomes toxic for the couple.. the girl in my boss believed that she needs to be as good as her boyfriend , she didn't want to be known as just his girlfriend , she distanced frm him & took up a job elsewhere so she cud do it on her own ..

It was kinda same in as beautiful as you also ..how does us damn matter as long as they do well ..if they're not capable enuf , they won't succeed even with a strong backing ..there also the fl was too stubborn to see the big picture..it would possibly take her a life time to set up something plus , in robotics she couldn't make as much progress on her own , she needed everybody's cooperation ..glad she said it later..

Here they don't do it at all, have any inhibitions in their minds....initially yu tu is conflicted coz he believes what could he give her ..but when they're together , none of these issues crop up between them..he gelled into her world like a charm , she did to his ..I'd give the credit to jingjing ,she was always like that..a very down to earth mindful person who knows what she wants and how..

I'm still skeptical over the finances thing like , how come his job wasn't a high paying one 😆 if it is or isn't, she was earning quite well so how does it matter anymore ? He cud just focus on his dream & he did it ..the rocket launch was another memorable moment ..

If I were to rate it , this is the best confession& best wedding I've seen till date in any show so far 🤩 hhmm best dating phase too..although all others stand as good..the hug after this confession was also the best I've seen..emotions were heartfelt..🥰

Also, her telling him that she wouldnt reach this level of success if not for his rejection , it touched me deeply🤩 many times rejection , failure and setbacks propells you to success

My only gripe with this show is that there were few epis in between where the leads don't appear together ..initially 2 and 15-18 I think..I am very much a science freak & I love to see how the satellites are built etc but I didn't want a detailed process of experiments , setbacks n everything at the cost of the leads 😆 but I give it a pass..I'm always greedy when it comes to romance, jitna ho utna kam..

I specifically agree about the conflicts and one of few times where couple had really good understanding and screenplay does not makes us bore instead yearn more for it
