Yes. They ramped up to this amazing conclusion and then it went tai tai phish in one episode.

So according to the new promo Abhi and Daya are "enimies" so maybe one of them is indirectly responsible for Freddy sir's death (in-universe explaination of Freddy's absence) and Abhijeet is maybe avenging for Freddy sir

I know that this is dark as hell but my brain has been on overdrive ever since i watched the promo....i don't want the makers to take the usual YSPT route so my brain is busy making up these crazy alternae explainations to it

I will love that. But it could be one of theirs confusion. Abhijeet could be confused or would have wrongly assumed that Daya is involved in Freddy's death

I really think Behroopiya was an incomplete episode. We never got to know who exactly was that Behroopiya who came as Abhijeet. Also what was their plan..

I also find Akhri Chunauti a bit off since they never clarified how they all survived that bomb blast.

In Behrupiya, Rocky was the criminal who underwent plastic surgery to become Abhijeet.

And in Akhri Chunauthi, they escaped from the back door before the bomb was about to explode

Freddy's death can be explained as the result of a heart failure due to the bullet injury from the eye gang episode (The episode in which the Eye gang boss escapes from CID). In the episode Freddy got a shot in his chest.

Freddy's character can be kept alive and it can be shown that he is transferred to CID Bureau, Pune as ACP or Senior Inspector.
