Response to Babs Ex & virat when they were married. There are number of differences to then compared to now marriage in these 3 characters. I can say we almost sure about. 1) Ex is manipulative & shown to be able to manipulate babita in getting her to continue after all Ex failed plans again and again + getting 45% . Point is Ex probably manipulated babita to beleive Ex is perfect partner for virat to sustain her lifestyle. Like Punjabi with parents in New york & likes fashion from upper class family- now babita wont be manipulated & takes frustration on Amu.

2) Babs & virat may have always been close as you suggest also put strain on marriage. This became worse after virat left babita but needed babita for divorce recovery. However Consider expanded points 1&3. 3) Ex I dont think you suggesting is innocent but want to mention she is primarily to blame for marriage failing. She used & created problems in Ahuja house to get what she wants. After moving out there was no one to blame. Her intentions of leaving Abhiraj & creating those problems were going to be exposed so she left Virat.

Last 2 para on Amu- agree Amu isn't behaving like a normal person should & understand your frustration at this illogical behaviour. Reason you suggest Amu does this makes sense in terms of her male representatives. Amu feelings for him delusional - yes & no. No - Before Mela she liked his help to Bhavani & saved her 2 or 3 times but virat didn't admit why. Currently he appears to show & admit feelings without hiding too much behind an ego like before Mela. Delusion in my opinion is not seeing that he only ever reacted strong to hurt her & family. Delusion is not seeing he will be manipulated by babita again & hasn't committed how he will be married to Amu but stop his mom harming their relationship

Think theres some confusion in my intent of last 2 post & maybe your response. Deep breath and take it in steps. 1) question you in quoted below bolded was mine - if Virat Amu( V A ) personality pre mela would sustain a relationship. Your response to me I think says they cant sustain relationship pre or post Mela. Am I correct? 2) The intent of my last 2 posts were to suggest the changes we see post Mela are maybe to make V A Compatible for a sustained relationship as it wasn't going to work with personalities before Mela.

3) let me answer or give my thoughts on point 2. In short I agree they cant sustain a relationship post Mela. Longer answer is also from your 2nd post in their response to their families. V A are showing they willing to change in being Compatible like Amu keep quiet on Babita & virat begging on knee for forgiveness from Bhavani. V A dont show will power to sustain relationship by not telling their families they want to be together. This will power may need trust in each other which could never happen. Based on all the villians & family objecting to their relationship. Trust is needed to sustain relationship especially with threats V A face. Should trust develop maybe the will power to sustain marriage can happen but not currently.

I'm suggesting delusional in terms of her ignoring the ugly side in him. The Ammu in the phase where Aaji came for the second time was much more aware of this ugly side than she is now.

But, if I look back at her reactions to some sensitive issues that have come up recently, I am not sure she is ignoring this too. Ammu is seen overprotective of Virat - like trying to calm him down around Rajeev in the previous eps. Yup, on one level it can be seen as she is trying to calm him down, but I now think it can also be her trying to make sure he doesn't go into that ugly zone. Her eyes were on him when the clip was played exposing babs... again, was it concern or she was monitoring him ready to jump in and trying to handle him if he goes ugly? Nimrit abuse time... she literally calmed him down... before he went ugly. Thats a new angle / pov... does it make sense?

Mela has been a traumatic experience for her... and now - at least going by the above para - it seems to me that the way she is dealing with it is by not letting Virat go into that mode ever again.

For me it is fine if Amruta is aware of this ugly side of his all the time, has a better excuse to the mela incident than 'how long are people going to hold on to it?'. If she doesn't care about her own self respect... will she get any? even from the people she 'loves'?

Adding to the suggestion in my previous post, the way she is with Nimmi, to me looks very similar to how she is with Virat - and perhaps the reason they've been giving importance to Nimmi as a character in the past months.

Yup.. I can appreciate Nimmi taking the step to divorce Rajeev... But it was Ammu who took the horse to the pond and even brought the water up right in front of its mouth. She was still scared and hesitant to drink... and at the moment, can appreciate the struggle Nimmi was going through and glad she finally chose to drink.

Ammu had to handle her almost like a kid during the kidnapping parts. Constant talking, instructions, reassurance etc... can be said other than carrying her out of their trap, she did everything.

The delusional part around Nimmi though is her saying to Dildaar 'Nimmi is so very strong she would've survived by herself'. well.. the moment Nimmi was out of her hands, she was 'lost'... she certainly was not 'strong'. Replace Nimmi with Virat, and its likely we can come across some, may be many, parallels. In the least, he was lost without her around him during the kidnapping ep, so much so he had to daydream her presence around him to instruct him what to do - not once, twice. And arguably all that Virat did was the parallel of drinking the water from the pond... he was literally presented Ammu right in front of him.

No surprises that actors sometimes are induced/coerced to praise makers even when nothing in the show seems watchable. After all pet ka sawaal hain.

I touched upon his previous marriage to suggest the pov whether anyone else other than Ammu, in the current phase, will be okay with what Virat is doing. Wont there be at least a slight discontent in how he dealt with things? [the incidents I mentioned - annulment papers (she showed her discontent here), accusing Babs, clip expose, wanting reassurance even if she is the one physically hurt saving Nimmi.] Will that person say with the same conviction 'If I were the one missing, wont Virat sir be looking for me?' The writers / makers answered this question for us.

And if Ammu was in the hospital, unconscious during the Ravandahan, may be she will wake up in a day or two, but Nimrit would've been toast. And despite her warning - like with getting Nimmi married to Rajeev - Babs transferred the money paving way for the next trouble. The 'marriage' is going on, only because Ammu is chosing it to - in a way thats justice too... he thought he will punish her by getting married to her, but now it is lasting only because of her.

I find the writers are grappling with this too - not ignoring the mela wedding as I may think they are - at least going by what Bhavani, Vandy, and now Jayesh seem to be doing. The writers I think know they *ed up and I hope they will bring at least this part to a healthy place. Or probably they are going 'despite everything VA love eo' which to me will be a sad thing.

In recent months whats visibly showcased by makers/writers/cvs/directors/editors with actors/actresses of KMTMG onscreen, to majority of watching audiences is as follows;

Amruta is shown supremely fierce, outspoken, strong, fighter, no-nonsense taker, back to be a self-respecting individual quickly reacting ONLY when she is standing against Jayesh and/or Rajeev when these two utter or do something terribly wrong according to her OR when these two severely insult & trouble Bhavani or Nimrit, and even her.

But its not the case when Amruta has to face similar or much severe wrongs said or done to her (or others) by Virat, Babita, Bebe, even Ishika + Priyanka (partly)

Am I missing something with her character? and its usage?

Bold: Nope. Except for a 'sensible reason(s)' as to why she is so around Virat, Babita, Bebe, Ishu, and ex. [I can guess / try to rationalise, but is that really the reason? who knows?]
