I don't think it has to do just with Abhi vs Daya story idea. Many of those likes are from old viewers like us who are just glad to see CID back. Bachpan laut aaya ho aisa feeling aati hai. Toh nostalgia ke liye bahut se log dekhenge aur jhelenge inke stupid storylines ko.

It's like how SP or Colors cash in on popular shows by trying to have season 2 or a spin-off. The season 2 and 3 of IPK or spin-off of IB were bad, but they still had viewership because of nostalgia reasons. People who were watching hated the storyline (not that these shows typically have a storyline), but still watched because it reminded them of their old favourites.

You explained well........even i will also watch it for nostalgia more than Excepting to see some some logical Content with some genuine investigations but i was thinking it wud be all same or not if They had released a simple comeback promo of show giving a samall Detail to upcoming Cases As they did in most wanted series ,serial killer stories ,karo ya maro etc ?

Guyz CID new season promo is on trending no 6 in indian youtube its first time as i don't think any sony tv show Do this much good .

I have a feeling the success of Anupamaa got to her. She was probably like this earlier, but not as bad. Here, she's the lead of a show that has been on #1 for like 2 years. That success has gotten to her head. She thinks she's the one running the show and people are tolerating her because they need the work and exposure.
