That is a proper divorce. It is just a term gen z invented for older couple.

Even if divorce is in cards, I think they will stall it till they see Aradhya off to the boarding school keeping up with Bachhan parampara, that is if the grandparents and the father have any say on this matter and if the mother agrees..

Ending a marriage is sad. But it is better to separate for good if the same marriage is riddled with abuse, toxicity and infidelity of any kind..

It is doubly sad to see one of India's most empowered woman's nonchalance to come out of this rut (if she is the victim). It is equally sad to see the entire Bachhan family, especially Abhisekh and Sweta , being vilified with no concrete evidence whatsoever, for differences between a couple who are both sane and capable adults.

And it is doubly sad to see another woman being dragged into a couple's mess ( if there is any)..

While a partner who is already married but not loyal to his/her marital vows is the culpable one for breaking the deal, it is not always a man who is at fault.

The one who has and will suffer the most in this whole train-wreck is Aradhya.

Nobody has let themselves go like her. Raveena, Sonali, Shilpa, Urmila, Preity. Even the B listers like Namrata S...all look Stunning in their 50s. Even Kareena & Rani whose weight fluctuates a lot always end up getting back in shape for movie roles. To think people are jealous of her "looks" is hilarious. 90% of the people look better than her today, even the neighborhood aunties.

It's almost like Abhishek Bachchan was the one who got cheated. Imagine marrying a beautiful woman and waking up to that in 5 years. You have a responsibility towards your spouse to look attractive. Also can't see Abhishek cheating.

I have never heard the term grey divorce before. Divorce is divorce. Why does it need a new added word based on age? This looks like something a bored influencer has come up with and media wants to show off that they know slangs Reminds me of Gwyneth Paltrow announcing her divorce by calling it “conscious uncoupling” 🙄

It’s a marriage not a beauty contest. People age and change and sometimes end up with medical issues. As if Abhishek himself looks the same as he did on his wedding time. He’s gained weight, gone grey, and seems to have completely lost his charm and sense of humor. That’s not what Aishwarya married either.

Father time is unbeaten. Everyone ages and Grey's but as previously mentioned, when you completely stop giving a f*ck like Aishwariya has, it's unfair to yourself and your partner. Nobody had any problems when Uday Chopra was shamed for letting himself go.

I'm sorry, but when your chin spans two continents it's time to dump the sambar rice and hit the treadmill.
