I personally didn't feel it that way otherwise I am pretty particular when it comes to Wahaj's screen space and relevance... From episode 1 it's clear that it's about Bilal's transformation which would happen once he truly falls in love so safe to say it's not like Mein where the story was not about Zaid at all!

Ep 2 for me was a build up to show the stark difference between Amaar and Bilal so in that scene Bilal again was relevant even in Ep2.

Hoping for the focus to shift on Bilal - Sadaf dynamic. It's interesting how many are already hooked to their story and waiting for their first meeting.

Hoping to see more of Humsha & Bilal's dynamics. I guess we will get that in coming episodes.

Looking forward to see how Bilal and Sadaf's love story will progress...hopefully next episode will be more fast paced & Bilal centric.

I just thought the trio storyline was stretched out way too much. Like Sadaf took forever telling Daniya the truth and I wasn’t invested enough in her reaction to bear the dragging of that scene. Instead I wished the graveyard scene was longer. The cinematography along with Wahaj’s emotional expressions had me craving for more.

I agree, I in fact I am not finding the dialogues heavy. They are pretty easy to understand even to me whose mother tongue is Hindi.

Oh how I wish the graveyard scene was longer too! It was a well directed and enacted scene

While I didn't connect with the trio of Daniya, Amaar and Sadaf, I am glad Dania asked for her money from Amaar ! That's the only thing i liked about the trio😂

Amaar is clearly money minded and will have grey shades for sure!

I am hoping for that tbh. Since this is my first show of the writer, I have no clue how much does he invest in supporting characters. I m hoping that Bilal's character and his love story will be fully explored. I am already connecting with Bilal and invested in his character.

I enjoyed the second episode much more than the first tbh. Yesterday the friends group annoyed me and I felt the acting was horrible but today I warmed up to them a little? And I think it’s mostly thanks to Saba Hameed taking charge of that Ammar dilemma. She has great screen presence. One good thing KRQ does is that he gives wholesome family dynamic in some form. In Gentleman it was Zarnab and her dad and here it’s Sadaf and her mom. So I didn’t mind the division of screen time. It made sense to me and Wahaj had plenty of scenes where he shined. For me he owns the screen whenever he comes and leaves a lasting impact. I loved the sober scene he had with Ammar. The car scene with Namdaar Mirza. I felt his hurt and embarrassment. Then the long talk with his other girlfriend (that actress played his sister in Fitoor, by the way smiley36). And then how he nailed the emotions in the graveyard. I did wish the graveyard scene was longer. But that’s about it.

For me the real appeal in the show is obviously Wahaj and as much as I’m enjoying his performance, I’m not going to get greedy about it because it IS an ensemble cast and the story has to make sense too. And Sadaf has a whole muhalla of family and friends around her. And we know her marriage to Ammar is the first phase of the story so that will be set up.

Excited for Humsha to join the story next week. Bilal really needs someone now. Someone to talk to who doesn’t judge him. Bilal Abdullah, despite his many vices, just makes you feel so bad for him. Wahaj is really nailing this role. His styling is on point also. So far he’s the constant thing that’s working for me.

I agree tbh.

I am in fact loving Bilal and Namdar's equation a lot 😂

Wahaj was SO ON POINT the way he mimicked Namdar's..the stress on please was so apt.😭😂 Bilal is unintentionally funny with his sarcasm and i love it 😂😭

I am already invested in Bilal and connected to his character. He is written really well so far and Wahaj is acing the game....if one were to compare Hamza, Bilal, Murtasim, Zaid or any other rich guy roles which Wahaj played earlier, one can see how even the rich guy roles are differently played. Wahaj is just so versatile.

I love his drunkard act. The hoarse voice adds so much realism. These nuances are crucial and Wahaj brings them in his performance really beautifully.

I love how despite being an alcoholic and a womanizer, people will still feel bad for Bilal! The credit goes to the writer and actor for this....to bring that vulnerability and sadness without the dialogues is crucial for this role and Wahaj has pulled it off so well!

Coming to the ensemble, my fav scenes so far have been Bilal and Namdar scenes. And in yesterday's episode Sadaf and her mom's scenes were good! The Mother shined!

I am not invested in the trio of Sadaf, Amar and Dania that much though. But I liked that Dania asked for her money back 😂

I guess Amaar is a flawed character. He thinks he loves Sadaf and thus trying xyz methods to ensure he says yes....he is money minded and self centered too which a lot of today's youth is.

I guess writer will try to showcase the difference between the true, unconditional love and conditional love....bilal's love would be unconditional.

You know what I feel nm uncle ka game will be over before epi 6, I think he'll get to know about zaviyars illness and he'd get a heart attack or something and he'd die because we haven't seen him much in the teasers.

Also if you notice, in these 2 episodes nm uncle has been with bilal everywhere, drops him at house but soon humsha will be replacing him as we have seen many shots of her with bilal in his car and at his house.

And once nm uncle dies, sadaf would join the company to support her family and then the actual love story would begin.

Wasn't fond of the rejection scene mostly due to the dialogues used..too much zeher talk and emotional blackmailing

Bilal baba kuch bhi kar sakte hai, he can hike salaries and give bonus to employees just like that and also offer job to the girl he is interested in order to know her bettersmiley14

Zeher talks were irritating but on second thought I think this might be somewhere linked to the scene we saw in the promo where ammar is lying on the floor unconscious.

Maybe to keep apart bilsad he'd do a fake suicide act and like sadaf mentioned she'd believe that he truly loves her.

I think that scene about suicide will be significant. Even when in teasers they show Daniya with a knife to her wrist and we also hear her saying that he was also once this crazy for Sadaf. Maybe he’ll try something again.

What I can’t figure out is how everyone is so happy at the wedding when this is the current scenario. This is why I suspect that Sadaf might have slight or thinks she has feelings for Ammar. Otherwise I don’t get it.
