When the show started many people were manifesting for Abhira becoming Kaveri's fav. but they made Kaveri do all sorts of cruel things before her current new and improved version. so she doesnt seem daadi -ike but like a shaatir CEO whose good grace is sought after.

If they make Kaveri actually apologize to Abhimaan for putting them through ordeals at some point maybe it will help a bit.

But yes, after today's episode it seems to be going in the direction that you said. Kv will start prioritizing Ab in firm and it might cause rifts between Ab and the 1-2 people still on her side and then maybe with Ar. Regarding Kv's objective she might not have anything ulterior as such like you correctly mentioned because they have never hidden anyone's motives before be it of Ruhi, Sanjay or Kv.One thing that I noticed today was that she handed Ab the case after Sanjay asked her what more she can do to prevent the family from breaking. But higher chance of it being random like most of what they show😀
