How I see it as Mustafa is working at a startup and works long hours while she works in corporate office with 500+ others and therefore her promotion cycle would be different than Mustafa’s.
But she is still parhaku, they even showed a bookshelf in the promo. And has independent hobby like gardening that she likes

They're discussing the show on the 7 stages of love, which necessarily is not the stages of love. I mean, like right now they are at 'Junoon', where his junoon is not for the female lead, but the junoon to earn money enough to provide for the FL.
So my take on the final stage of "Maut" is not literally death, but the death of the ego in love, or the death of the negativity in a relationship.
Yes, he is looking adrift, because RN he's into the junoon of earning, and she feels neglected, plus, the fact that they're having a baby when they're so financially unstable is making Mustafa not able to rejoice the happiness.
It's a matter of time, they'll have their fair share of break-up and makeup.

And she has other independent interests like books, gardening. And now her baby, which I imagine is how most married working women live like.
While she doesn’t talk about her job, she is shown to do different activities in most scenes. But I agree that they are in the background and active focus is on Mustafa and his job. She is a stable supporter, both emotionally and financially, there to share the burden when Mustafa lost his job or while settling into their new home.
