The franchise is originally in Malayalam. Malyalam movie is made first and then Hindi remake.

I read somewhere that Malayalam walon ko inferiority complex ho gaya ki hindi movie unse jyada famous ho raha.

So there is news that they will be making hindi and malayalam version of Drishyam 3 simultaneously.

Wow 3rd part bhi ayega, going Singham way i thought its over with 2nd part.

First part was superrr amazing, kitni baar bhi dekhlo otherwise u cant watch mystery movies more than once.

And 2nd me to last me sab palat diya

And ofc Hindi speaking ppl r more so it will be more famous (no offense to Southies)

You guys were discussing about a Malayalam movie so why include entire south india in it? TN , KA , AP , TS also comes under south india so leave us alone while talking about Keralites

Plus like RainOfDew said (that the movie got famous cause Hindi speaking ppl are more in no) they are making part 3 in both Hindi and Malayalam so that they can have the collections of both the industries for themselves and don't have to lose the collections of Bollywood market by selling the film rights (greedy ppl)
