Maybe Anupamaa has way too many people in her life to mother around issliye she is unable to be a mother to Adhya.

Most people are like that only when they are a kid or a teen! Brats of highest order. Everybody grows out of it. And those that don't become Toshu and Pakhi.

So what exactly is expected from anupama. I know teens are spoilt at that age. Some people remain spoilt while others improve.

Most importantly adhya isn't a plastic doll having no consciousness , at the end of the day she has to think of what is right or what is wrong. Anupama being the bhashan queen she is ,guides her. It is upto adhya how she becomes and perceive things. Everything can't be imposed on anupama.

So far anupama does tell adhya of what is right or wrong. Now how exactly is she supposed to mother adhya , yahi gyaan kya anupama ko ulta khade hokar bolna chahiye taaki adhya ko achche se samaj aaye.

And last but not the least , anupama can be a mother to adhya but at the same time anupama does have other relationships too which includes her shah family , children no matter how much spoilt , she is attached to them. What's so wrong if she gives time to them as well.

Because Anupama loves her Gutter Mouth Baa, Dukhmukh and her 2 Anmol Ratan Toshu and Pakhi. Anuj was never happy for atleast 1 day after marrying Anupama. Anuj gave every thing to Anupama on a platter after their 1st wedding. The shameless Shah's called Anupama for every little thing. Anupama had got a loving husband like Anuj. But what did she do to Anuj? Anuj and the other Kapadia's were broad minded, US educated but Anupama was just 12th pass. Anupama was not of Anuj's level but still Anuj had loved her. I doubt whether Anuj is a Kapadia or a Shah thanks to his close proximity with the ungrateful Shah's. Rakhi ji (Rakhi Dave) was right when she said that Anupama and Anuj's pair was a mismatch. Even Vanraj's prediction that "Anuj ka dum ghutne lagega" had turned out to be true. The truth is that Anupama had more time to solve the never ending problems of the shameless Shah's but she neither had time to think of completing her education, about her career and what she wanted to become. She neither had time for Anuj nor for Aadhya. Anupama had taken her married life for granted.

Pakhi was 16-17 years old when anupama opted for second marriage which obviously meant that pakhi didn't continue to receive mother's love and affection as people of her age generally get , the same goes for samar as well. If pakhi and samar can adjust with their's mother's changed priorities then why not adhya , afterall she isn't even anupama's own child.

As for the part about misbehavior , adhya is as much of a battmeej as pakhi. Infact pakhi used to appear like a spoilt teenager , but adhya appears like a grown adult like dolly, dimpy with her choice of words.

Anupamaa is sometimes unable to fulfill all the responsibilities she takes up, so she should be wise while choosing what she is actually capable of doing.
