It would have been better if they wld hv shown Salar making efforts to clear Sitara. Instead they show him spending an entire night at his beach house feeling bad for Sitara n then decides to fix things for her by ensuring she doesn't marry qasim. 🤦‍♀️

his entire focus was on 'Sitara's marriage', not on that he needs to fix what he has broken - Sitara's reputation ...

I think until his own fiasco with Sahiba and his own reputation being hit, he never realised that the full extent of what had happened to Sitara and that is why he was more focused on her marriage and who suited her and what not. He really did not get that Sitara was not agreeing to these marriages because she was in love or something but because she had no options left.

The early focus was on Salar wanting Sitara to become capable. I dunno why they kept deviating from that repeatedly.

but i am really not liking the fact that writer is degrading Sitara's character by giving her horrible lines , just to show Salar's character growth and his true love for her ..

That is another thing that Salar never understood. I get that he was trying to ensure that Sitara is accepted as the rightful and legitimate DIL of the family but honestly, Sitara had been deprived of her rightful status by both Tahir who, while sympathetic, clearly told her in no uncertain terms that he does not accept her as DIL and Mehreen makes it very clear at every instance that she does not even tolerate her presence. Even while Sitara was packing sandwiches for Nani, Mehreen could have just moved on instead of making faces. Salar and Sitara should have really moved out and may be stayed with Nani after the wedding. It was a wrong choice to remain in the Sikandar house.

I think the only time Sitara felt comfortable at her in-laws was at Junaid and Saba's place.

Sitara has all the right reasons (including mental state )to behave rudely with everyone around her ..

but why writer is making her look bad in every situation is beyond my understanding ...

Even Working with the theory that sitara is not a horrid person but one on the verge of breakdown, i dont think the ideas suggested works ::

Theoretically giving space to sitara sounds good but sitara is such that anyone else giving her space would amount to abandonment to her....

It would just solidify her belief that salaar just married her for time pass and now he has left her alone like a used tissue (urghhh.... who is writing these crappy dialogues)..

She doesn't want to become independent or working.. For her that amounts to no one willing to take responsibility of her.... No one willing to keep her in their life... She doesn't have aspirations as such... .

It's catch 22... She doesn't want to live with him but any hint of him leaving her would confirm all her misunderstandings

And main important thing, he was arrigant and proudy from the start. Salman k kisi relative ki kisi bhi trhan ki importance nhi thi uski nazar mein. Sirf sitara k ley soft corner develop hua tha, aur us pr bhi gussa tha k wo stupid kyun hai . Kyun blindly belive krti hai.

Sitara ki reputation nhi, Qasim se jealously ne move kya tha usko pehle. Also when he say, tumhare naam se bdnaam hui hai. First mission to usko sirf Qasim jese selfish bmde se alg krna tha...baki sb hota chla gya.

Jese usne ab recent episode mein kaha, jobless hone ka dar kya hota hai ab pta chla. Jb apne character pr baat aai, tb he remember walima scene.
