Oh so maya has been wanting to work with wahaj ever since phl and before even. Well not surprised as she made a comeback to tv after a hiatus with a post independence era show starring wahaj who was a B lister back then and a newcomer talha.

Good that this video surfaced and squashes all the claims of her wanting to now do a show with him is because he's the most successful and talked about actor currently, and proves them to be baseless and false.

I don't like Maya as a actor but she is perfect for this role and the lack of expressions is actually appropriate this time cos like Sadaf said that she neither feels 'nafrat nor mohabbat' so we aren't supposed to be sure of her feelings.

I actually think that requires even better and more nuanced acting. Not giving anything is not gonna help audience warm up to the character. Hopefully she’s not some zombie character and has some signs of life. We need to feel her turmoil and conflict also to be a believable love interest. Will know more when the show starts. Maybe she will surprise us.

She better. Haseeb is her fav director so I hope he brings out the best from her.
