Hey guys, currently watching this show for the first time, and I'm on episode 90 (Jail track - 10 crores).
Can I know when the episode tone will get lighter? On episode 90ish, it's stressful and sombre, and I've wanted to both cry and hurl objects at the moment.
Also does Virat ever find out about who actually told Aajji about the divorce (or at least that Amruta never said anything?)

Episode tone doesn't get lighter but from here onwards headache and nonsense started.
No he never found out who told aaji Abt divorce.Blaming ammu is fav hobby of the show till today. His divorce status itself become joke in future episode .
I can say its better to watch Queen of Tear again then this.
Also it's just my personal view .

Tone may feel lighter around eps related to a wedding that comes up - VSA becomes the 'extra - good' guy for a brief time. That will be around eps 130. But the general tone doesn't get lighter. [and be warned, it gets really bad around ep 185 - many here quit watching the show after that.]
Dont think he ever learns Ammu never said anything... and like Annu mentioned above, this divorce thing does feel like a joke a 100 ep later.

Stop watching immediately. That jail track was one of the last good tracks. After that, it's all a test of patience, perseverance, frustration, and abject failure to keep one's cool while watching the show.

Ammu bringing Virat back to her home does go with the reverse Cinderella story you mentioned. Babs ne koi time limit nahi diya tha bass.
Why her home though? At least could've shown Dildaar when they reach home. Something odd about it - even trying to 'hide' it from Bhavani.

As many said don't expect the eps to get lighter.
And my advice if you are willing to pursue your binge-watch, don't use your brain while watching. In short, don't try to find any logic in this show, it's nonexistent. Plus writers forget what they write earlier so it's up to you to keep watching

On that BTS that I didn't really watch, I thought they would be somewhere outside, like kissi ke ghar ya aisa kuch. But budget ka problem hai na so we will never see them elsewhere than those A & B wings
To everyone who replied, thank you!
Man I'm sad. I was actually enjoying an ITV show after such a LONG time. To know it just goes downhill from here makes me sad. I'm loving the chemistry of the leads, and actually liked Virat and Amruta as individual characters.
But if Amruta blaming keeps going on and on I might have to drop this one
