Television is no more a field where actors get paid a petty sum. Nowadays, telly stars demand exorbitant prices and most of them get paid what they quote. Here are the ten highest-paid actresses on TV.
Smriti Irani
As Tulsi of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, she has become a huge star and is the highest paid actress on television. In the beginning, she started with a measly Rs 8,000 per episode. When Kyunkii… happened, she started earning Rs 35,000 and now after the generation leap, sources say she is being paid Rs 50,000 per episode. Her endorsements get her Rs 5 lakh.
Mona Singh
When Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin was launched, she was paid Rs 5,000 per episode. But today she asks for Rs 28,000 per episode. The actress also makes around Rs 20 lakhs per annum for her ads, stage shows abroad and for inaugurating stores. Apparently, she has charged Rs 50 lakh for her first film that is scheduled to start early next year.
Sakshi Tanwar
Despite Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki not garnering high TRPs, Sakshi continues to be very popular. This ensures that she takes home a rather fat remuneration, amounting to Rs 25,000 per episode. Though she isn't seen doing many ads, her modelling charges are around Rs 1 lakh.

She is undoubtedly the crowd puller in Astitva and also the biggest star of Zee TV. At the onset of the show itself, Niki made it clear to the makers that she will charge Rs 20,000 per episode. In addition to that, she charges Rs 3 to 4 lakh for her endorsements.
Shweta Tiwari
Prerna of Kasautii started off with Rs 5,000 per episode. The show's success boosted her career and her price. She is said to be drawing Rs 20,000 per episode. For advertisements she charges between Rs 2 to 4 lakh.
Gauri Pradhan
Gauri is said to be stubborn about working on her own terms. Currently, she makes around Rs 18,000. Reportedly, she has demanded Rs 30,000 after the leap happens in Kyunki… in February.
Dolly Sohi
She started off with Rs 7,000 when she took over as Saroj in Bhabhi, since she was a replacement. After the show's success, she is now being paid Rs 16,000 per episode.
Shilpa Saklani
Acting in many shows makes Shilpa's purse quite heavy. The lady gets Rs 7,000 for Kyunki… and Rs 15,000 for Kkusum. She has allegedly charged, Rs 16 lakh for Nach Baliye.
Mona Wasu
She might not be in the list of the top-notch actresses as yet but is remunerated quite well. Mona alias Millie gets paid Rs 10,000 per episode. Her price will be reconsidered after the show completes one year.

This airhostess-turned-actress is surely minting some good money. She is believed to be getting approximately Rs 10,000 for Kesar. She manages to make another Rs 10,000 for her show Kkavyanjali.
