The Global star thing is so funny even. So few people have any sort of international presence even if they are super talented/popular. Alia/Deepika/ Aish would influence more people to buy something in South Asia than Penelope would and vice versa. Airing penelope's ads in India is as much a waste to the Company as airing Alia's ads in Spain. Their ultimate job is to get more sales.

At best, one googles the "hot model in that ad." Lest you are musician or a cult actor like Bruce Lee or Shah Rukh, you ain't a global star. Lol.
