Was Amitabh foolish for not divorcing Jaya and being with Rekha?

Why didn’t he divorce Jaya and marry Rekha?
Rekha is still pining for him in old age. She got the raw deal in her sad life.
I don’t like Jaya, she is just a horrible woman.

In those days all hero had family image not play boy images like salman, ranbir, akshay, amir, ajay etc to succeed in movies

Jaya is very good human being from what i have read of her

she took so much pain from AB yet stayed with him looked after his parents till death she was an ideal 1970s bahu and wife who took any shit from hubby and in laws and served them selflessly

I think shes just depressed and upset taking so much pain for decades hence snaps at others

That was 1970s wife had no much power unlike now they were treated badly by hubby and in laws parents would not accept daughter back yet we blame wife

Its not 2024 where women divorce and stay happily in society (even now single woman targeted badly by society)

No because otherwise his expenses would have increased.
