Let's forget 1st half of the movie...so what happens in later part is that the heroine gets pregnant and the hero gets too engrossed in work commitments and won't be able to pay much attention to the heroine. One day she gets severe stomach pain and she faces miscarriage upon further tests it's revealed she haa uterus cancer and from there their emotional journey starts but in end she won't be able to fight back and the hero carries her in his arms, takes her home and she dies in his arms.

If someone interested to see tragedy through illness track, then the makers should follow ‘Ai no Uta’. All the three protagonist were diagnosed with cancer.
The Fl died first; the ML died soon after while listening to the love song she wrote for him before she died, which was rendered by the ML’s friend who also had a countdown clock ticking for him.

I feel like this whole fertility track has been incorporated to make Abhira leave the Poddar OH and shift to Goenkas’ where she will find out that she is the daughter of that house along with Surekha and Swarna. Then everything will be sorted and remaining wedding festivities will happen happily, from the Goenka house. Post Mehendi, it is imperative that the dulhan have her own family and home cause how else will haldi, shaadi and bidaai happen with just the bride? Haldi especially is not a bride and groom function, it has to happen separately.
