Naira went through surgery to help with her chances of conceiving and the family was supportive after Dadi did thodu sa drama in the beginning. Goenkas were not THIS toxic at all, in fact everytime Naira was going through a medical issue, they all were supportive and took care of her. Dadi was more sad about not being able to see the kids of her grandson than taunting Naira over infertility like a vile hag.

My guess, this track is brought for mg's official entry into abhira's life as her p nanu, koi solid reason chahiye for abhira to forgive & accept mg, what better than this if he solves it. He might reveal to armaan that this issue runs in abhira's family. And ab tak mg ne kuch kiya nahi that will give him the right to do kanyadaan, agar yeh issue woh sort kar denge toh abhira & armaan khud unko yeh right de denge with or without identity revelation

This, to highlight blood relation they shouldn't compensate with armaans character, later ML will get ruined for sure but not now.... he has had such a wonderful character arc

Isnt Abhira already pratadit enough ?!

she is an orphan who is being tortured by all. first all the PH folks took time to warm up to her and took turns to say/do something hurtful, then it was Armaan himself being cruel to her, then when he confessed love and is being a good man we have Kaveri, Ruhi and Fufa keep doing some crap. iss sab ke beech mein dhongi buddha MG will act mahaan without revealing who he is so Abhira will be accused of phasaoing him to be her family etc too.

So why do we need infertility in this mix?

surely she is suffering enough without this infertility issue

I don't know but I just it's not someone chaal, or reports got switched with someone else. That station got said it's 99% shaadi will happen but there's that 1 person.
