If abhira has pledged her resort, then that makes sense. Saw a clip kaveri trying to manipulate abhira saying something like she has called media for the pahadi function, her parents especially mumma ki naam mitti mein mil jayega if function is flop, aisa kuch.

So pledging resort might be the only option she was left with to arrange huge sum of money & save her parents reputation.
