My goodness, is there anything in the world she hasn't tried to copy? Does this girl have even one ounce of originality or was everything forced on her by KJo? Even her eating disorder was copied from him which he regrets now.

The singing from Parineeti and Shraddha.

Spy movies from Deepika and Katrina.

Bhansali period film from Deepika.

Sarees for tall women come from Deepika and Katrina.

Ranbir is the sloppy seconds of Deepika and Katrina.

Her SOTY debut copied from Poo in K3G without any of the iconic status.

Now this latest trend to copy endorsements. I think it's safe to say she'll be copying Shraddha to enter the Maddock movieverse next. She won't need any makeup for a horror film so that's one thing in her favor. Her nostrils achieve a horror effect alone.

I hope the Shraddha rumors are not true. I can't see what anyone sees in that aging bloated alcoholic. He looks scary to me.

With Alia, I knew girls in my school like her. Very fake and copied the popular girls on everything. One girl always wore her hair down but befriended the popular girl who wears a ponytail. Surely enough, this girl started wearing her hair in a ponytail everyday too.

The funny thing is that she wasn't even slick about it although she thought she was. She pretended she always wore her hair like this and nobody would know but everyone knew she was copying the popular girl and had no fashion sense of her own. Modeled her whole personality on that popular girl to fit in because she was a blank slate by herself. I feel Alia is in the same mold where she has no real personality or character so she takes from more interesting people.

Bravo!!

Slow caps..

Also the senior actresses her husband was associated with were also associated with many actors/non-actors in the past?? So what???

But leave all these, just let me know the answer of my original question :"How does her personal choices got anything to do with her professional choices??"

Why does what you see her as should have coincided with what she has wanted/wants from her life..???

People have their own opinion about stars. We are free to voice it.

There is a pattern I have seen in her career choices, which may have been influenced by her private life.

Alia could have played any athlete in her film Jigra. Why does it have to be a basketball player? She is physically not a fit for that role. She wants to be seen as taller?Neither is she the right fit for the Spyuniverse..a two heroine film-Sharvari claims, which is a big responsibility for hersmiley2smiley36. Both films look unserious to the audience. Action/thriller is not Alia's strength-Those films need a certain physicality, a certain image..where as she hypes herself as the best actress and made that image for herself. It is like casting Rajkumar Rao for Dhoom 4 after Stree2..or Ayushmann Khuranna who can claim to have given maximum "solo" openings/hits.

Why follow a beaten path.."I can also do it".I too can be the typical glamorous heroine. I feel it is a losing game. She created a unique space for herself and then went on to dilute it with Brahmastra,Kalank etc.

Exactly. I had no idea she's playing a basketball player. I already wasn't going to watch trash like Jigra but now I have extra incentive to avoid this knowing she's pretending she has the height to be one. Bad enough we have to see her as a glamour girl or historical heroine and now she's trying even this ill-suited role.

I thought after her dreadful Heart of Stone fiasco, she'd give up on spy movies but I guess in India she doesn't need to worry about bad reviews because Daddy Dharma is there to buy the critics off. Too bad Hollywood doesn't know him or her.

Remember her fans are even saying she should be the next Dhoom girl. Lol after Aishwarya and Deepika, I'm sure Alia will try everything to be in the running. She doesn't even pass the height exam let alone any other part of the physicality. So done with this deluded girl being humored by the industry.

Why is Alia trying to copy Deepika's short locks from Pathaan? Even Deepika's hairstyle is up for grabs now apparently. Alia really needs to get a grip because she can never beat the originals.
