Nothing to make light of

Kalpana was the first Indian (and South Asian) woman to fly to space

No mean feat, coming from a conservative background and considering the time period

That she died so tragically while doing what she loved is absolutely devastating

As great as Juhi is, actresses are dime a dozen but there has been only one female Indian astronaut who went to space and that's Kalpana

Female astronauts must still be a rarity in India
