Thank you!! The tension between them is always thick from the beginning that you can cut that with a knife!! They were the last to realise about that. Mahamanga was always aware of that tension right from the time she heard Jalal being empathic to Jodha's situation after the miscarriage track!! And she's the first to realise about Jalal's surfacing feelings when Jodha was poisoned at the end of Benazir track. Everyone were busy in observing Jodha's health, but Mahamanga was observing Jalal, watching his distraught and reading it carefully. Her expressions were giveaway that she understood what was going on in Jalal's mind.

I think Maham Anga has always known that there was more to Jalal's attraction to Jodha even before the miscarriage track and it shows the moment the political alliance between Amer and the Mughal empire was initiated via marriage. when she also implies that Jalal takes Jodha as a concubine instead and he sends her that glare, it becomes all the more obvious that there's more than what meets the eye.

it is why she tries to poison Ruqs' mind against Jodha because she is a threat to both of them and their agendas. Maham Anga knows that Jodha is slowly gaining a foothold on Jalal's heart - the one part of him everyone (well, almost everyone) thought nonexistent - and pulls every string behind the curtains to get rid of her.
