I agree to an extent, she wasn't silent when her ex-fiance used to be disrespectful, but she wasn't comfortable voicing out her concerns either. There was a phone call where she bought up Adeel not picking up her call/joining her on the shopping trip. But Adeel overpowered her with his arguments and she ended the call apologizing to him instead...She's not strong in that sense.
Adeel had that conversation where he insulted her marriage as samjhota and Rubab tried to give her money. She spoke out both these times.
With Mustafa's mom, I do feel that she took in a lot of disrespect, but only because she didnt want to escalate things further. I think she has an avoidant personality, she would rather avoid confrontation. Unless it's with Mustafa, who she is comfortable around.
That is the thing I am trying to say, maybe I was not clear, that Rubab being Adeel's wife triggered Jeena, otherwise she would have kept quite on the money gifting thing thinking 'let us not make things ugly', just how she does with Shaggy and her taunts.
And also standing up for herself in a polite manner in front of her MIL. Because that woman is just outrageously hateful of her for NO reason. So these things could be added to make her more relatable and REAL. Itna perfect Aur patient koi nahi hota.
