I agree. I did not like what AK did here. One more person who lies in the show. Can we not get a nice honest person? Is his intent selfish or did he lie to protect J like Ani is what I'd like to know.

Regarding AK, I thought they will have him fall in love with J, given his attraction with her during the ad shoot. But it did not seem so with yesterday's episode. His last look of glee when he saw Ani walking away...it seemed more to either get back at Ani for his behavior during the shoot or for what he thinks Ani must have done to Jhanak with dumping her for Arshi. So far he has been pretty hands off wrt J only approaching her in a professional manner wanting to make her career, exactly what Ani wanted to do for J. Ani also started with wanting to get J to succeed. The makers did not have him carry J to the hospital. RP did. If they had wanted to make Ani burn, they would have put J in AK's arms. Maybe AK's role is just to trigger Ani then. I would have preferred a longer lasting role. I like to see Ani on edge rather than the Ani who thinks he can marry Arshi while still looking after Jhanak.

I don’t think the makers would have wanted AK to carry Jhanak especially at the first encounter between AK-J-Ani. There will be more of such scenes or even better to trigger Ani at the core. But absolutely agree with your point here and what AK told Ani, dude you can’t have both ways. Either you pick this or that. I still dont get what is so important about Arshi other than her health issue that is bounding him to stick to her? Why such a dheet behavior?

If AK continues to help J, he’ll get to see the innocent side of her just how Ani got to know. So AK falling for J later could be a possibility. For now he is only going to target Ani’s weak points and that is related to J, but he genuinely seems to want to help her succeed.
