its great that everyone wants to meet her and congratulate her. Manu deserves all this accolades and appreciation and there is so much more to come as well. She is the pride of India right now with 2 medals and one lost by 1 point..its the hypocrisy of folks which is the problem. Everyone, including the PM and the LOP have the right as well to congratulate and encourage their sports stars. That does not mean anyone wants to hog the credit or limelight. Atleast now Manu will be in the good books of the other side..who was busy mocking her before this.

Also I think Neeraj's fouls post the second throw..were him trying to go above 90 metres and making mistakes....he did a 89 plus in the qualification so I dont think his second throw was a fluke either..both qualification and his winning throw from yesterday was his season's best...he usually hits 87-88..he did better than that for Olympics..unlike some of our totally useless athletes who regressed from SB in athletics by a mile.. But he has LA 2028 as well..and lets hope between 24 and 28..we will see NC in every game/ tournament bettering his best. The man has been in top 2 in some last 10 odd games if I am not wrong..he is perhaps the greatest athlete from Modern India sofar.

Yes he was definitely trying to cross 93, but in that was unable to control himself. Probably few did land far off, because he said that saare hi foul ho rahe the bas ek naapa inhone.

Undoubtedly he is the greatest and if health permits, he can still continue for 2 Olympics. 33-34 is not some huge age for Javelin, he has been winning golds throughout, as he said that since 2016, first time he lost to Arshad.

But now he shall understand that game has changed, 89-90 wont do, he shall aim for 95 now
