I have major complaints with the writing of Ani’s scenes in this interim period… so much so that I haven’t watched as I want to temper my expectations vs reality. For me like some of you this is a story hinging on the moral conflict of two people tuned at different emotional frequencies but their heart beats for the other.( hat tip to Asmita for the point on emotional intimacy in another post)

I have mentally accepted that Ani in his great bravado has tied the noose around his neck…. assuming he has the courage to not be part of Jhanak’s life. Which is all great if Jhanak also doesn’t want the same but we know aisa toh nahin hoga Jhanak rani shabdon ka jaal bhunegi 😂😂 dono apni frequencies ki tuning karenge… thoda bad thoda good music milega!!

I can understand people trying to find a moral higher ground for their preferred lead in this story.....but the harsh truth is that the moral high ground is not something any character in this journey can claim as much anymore....if it was about morality, the answer would be clear from day one. No matter what the consequences, Ani and even Jhanak should have told Arshi the truth, dissolved his marriage with Jhanak and married Arshi properly after that. But none of that happened,both of them lied.then.....cuz this story isn't about the moral higher ground. It's about people caught in a complex web of destiny, helplessly trapped by both circumstances as well as their own characteristics....trying to navigate their way out of it as much as they are able to in the flow of the moment.

And Ani and Jhanak understood it ,they do realise that they have somewhere done wrong with Arshi and they are bearing the consequences of it punishing themselves so hard......

And Arshi toh leave only....as I have always found her evil....a dark Character.....this bechari and whitewashing is not working on me.....I am even highly doubting her love for Ani as well.....

.here I was only search for meaningful connections....and I've found those in Ani-Jhanak's relationship....

Now why they are playing such a fascinating Character of Ani with such nonsense dialogues...not exploring his emotions at all.... giving uss Ani-less episodes and showing him completely surrendered that to in such a hurried manner is ridiculous....It could have handled better.....

Their ability to speak their truth to each other in the face of so many paradoxes and complexities has always made for a fascinating watch...which I am expecting them to explore even now ..

in epsiode they will show some stupid dialogues and not show the performance lol ...

The two things I sympathize with arshi are that she has the right to feel mad at Ani for not being truthful to her, and she has a terrible mother. At the end of the day, ani and Arshi were in a relationship and Ani could have chosen to tell the truth and he did not. Arshi always had a choice to leave and now she is making the wrong choice again to stay in the relationship despite knowing his feelings, deciding to hurt Ani, Jhanak, and herself .. so her choice of decisions is always incorrect. Before she did not leave because of her lingering feelings now its all about ego...

Strange behaviour started as soon as she realised Jhanak is not there. The moment she came back to Bh from hospital her first dialogue was about Jhanak. Also she knows Anirudh wont go anywhere leaving her in that condition. Even Anirudh started his strange behaviour after the aag drama. The reaction of Anirudh when he got the letter from Jhanak room was not the Anirudh whom we all saw all through.

So its just the writer who is confused or confusing the viewers who watched a lot of episodes and didn't declare a leap.

Arshi knew even during uncle groom time, holi hospital drama how much he was worried for Jhanak ... He wasnt even in love with her at that time. But she could get the hint, didnt even bother to start a conversation aa a friend of his. He might not have realised at that moment he was falling in love with Jhanak as he has Arshi in his mind. Instead this girl talked to him that yoh are changing without realising yourself and ended with I wont lose to a random girl like Jhanak.. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ what a great friend she became to him there!!!!.

Yes, he could have, but for him because of Arshi he couldn't come into terms with his love for Jhanak. Its the Kashmir bukar that gave him the thought Kya mein Jhanak se pyar karti hoon and before he could act everything turned upside down.. No answer from Jhanak.., marriage, annulment, aag.... Everything changed so soon and no conversation between leads for hell number of episodes ...

I would have sympathised with Arshi if she had asked direct like how she is doing now to Anirudh much before as a good friend and then turn cry baby or negative or victimise herself. Also she has a good father who gives her better advises, but she chose to ignore him and now is blaming it all on her mom . She is selfish same like her mom. All of a sudden now she remembered her dad.

Now this question is invalid as she knows he wont disappoint her as she is sick . Unlike her he is a good human she will atleast know that in all these years of being together , also she first guilt trips him and then ask about pyar and Jhanak. So does she need his truth , I still doubt .

the issue is that Ani’s emotions have not received any attention from the writers. If their intention was to keep the emotions bottled in… I don’t think that came thru well enough…Ani’s concern for Jhanak’s whereabouts received scant attention. Agreed, she moved out of her own will but his attention to getting information about her received not much mention; if I remember correctly apart from one empty threat to his father and a couple of phone calls… I don’t think any scenes depicting some movement on that. Him getting reconciled to not having Jhanak in his life wasn’t a problem but the transition wasn’t handled properly… it was too sketchy…scattered!! This serial doesn’t do too much of monologues which I actually like becos for me monologues are the least preferred narrative style. The aim of the writer was to say Ani has moved on just as Jhanak and they left it at that. Issue is Jhanak’s moving on didn’t need much explanation becos she moved out in a wave of anger and when you are left to fend for yourself in a city and you are at your wits end…. romance will be far far from your mind… Ani’s situation wasn’t the same… his moving on was too abrupt… his acceptance of the situation needed more narrative reinforcement which the writers weren’t good at. The vision was good but execution was poor. The result was a depiction of an insincere Ani which the character is actually far from
