These last few days I have been listening to the Idol performances again - it's a very long play list 🙂

And the following just stand out for how superior Arunita's skill level is. She just needs to bring more of these to her concerts. I would willingly pay as much as a typical SG concert to listen to her perform these songs!

In no particular order except how they came up when I was listening to them:

Satyam Shivam Sundaram - both audition and the LP episode

Dilbar and Tere Sang Pyaar Main (Jeetendra episode)

Tu Chanda Main Chandni

Lag Jaa Gale

Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam

Mohe Rang Do Laal

Ek Radha Ek Meera

Bada Dukh Dina

Raina Beeti Jaaye

Beeti na Bitaye Raina

Nindiya Se Jaagi Bahaar

Oh yes! Her Idol performances are truly a treat to hear! I’ll add her renditions of Maar Dala, Dil Cheez Kya Hai, In Ankhon Ki Masti, O Sajana, and Aapki Nazaron Ne Samjha to your list. it has hard to leave out any of those performances. I just went by the difficult ones - having a lot of classical touch.

Here's an example of using social media following of others to increase your own reach. Neha Karode is originally a collaborator / friend of Pawandeep from his pre Idol days. But now it is Sayli who is posting singing reels with her, not Arunita.

There is a lot that Arunita has to learn from Sayli in terms of business saviness.

Nachiket too deserved to go further in the season. IMO Nachiket over Danish and Sireesha over Sayli. At least those two changes in the composition of the top 6 is what I would have liked.

I am less optimistic about this. In the past at one concert which was called "Remembering Legends" or something like that (I think the one in Riyadh) there were hardly any songs that you would typically associate with the legends.

About half of her solo time was Lataji / Ashaji songs . For some reason I can't understand, Arijit songs keep being included in her performance!

Anyway it is good to hear her back in original form when she sings those classic songs.
