She has taken stand against anirudh when he was wrong … she will stand with anirudh when arshi is wrong… for her mahanat is everything , but she loves him above all that is indisputable fact for me. She gave up on her love , because of Arshi … she didn’t want to do anything wrong to her, but if Arshi does things that are just out of revenge she won’t stand for it I think …

Arshi is convincing , not for me.

She is looking convincing because Anirudh is made mute and his family is supporting her inspite of knowing the truth about her mom. He is standing there accepting everything she is saying . Does he believe he is the cause for her issues ?All her drama is mainly because of her fear of her career , which is actually due to her mom. Anirudh is never guilty in that case . He has even told the other day straight to her , how am I responsible for your condition. Which she ignored and used her health condition to not take it forward.

If someone points her the actual situation and take away the Bose families support from her life , she would be not in a position to open her mouth and shout at Anirudh .

He can be guilty with the thought that many a times he did place Jhanak above Arshi, which she is now trying to use in her condition to guilt trip him.

And because of this he is taking care of her. But that too is not taken well by her.

Its good she is vamp now...more chances of Jhanak and Anirudh to be together.

The issue is Jhanak hadn’t been in a real situation to be able to rationalise it in that way so I am willing to understand this clog in the wheel.

This Mumbai track gives her better perspective ( despite the crappy writing) that the world is a judgemental place. In her situation in BH etc, some guilt about her feelings for Ani always kept her moored and unable to accept their bond but in Mumbai she is not romantically inclined to anyone there…yet she faces the same kind of insults. This is a huge learning curve for her, to get more understanding of the world in general, her responses will get bolder and slowly the acceptance of love ( what ultimately matters)

It is a learning curve for her definitely.....

But she has had a hard experience with her mother in Kashmir as well..Her mother was constantly humiliated and even character assacinated...She herself was a child with no father's name...she better understand what a judgemental place society is...

And it's not like she doesn't know it...

When Ani had asked her that he would keep her in some other house,She had very loudly said that...." Aisi aurat ko samaj doosri aurat & rakhail bolti hai..."...so she had that awareness...and it made sense as well..

Soo suddenly this much naivety is something I can't understand...

But I agree that in BH her marriage with Ani and her feelings regarding him always acted as a baggage.....so now may be far from those things she will learn...

I have always said that she should have been honest about her expectations to him then give him the ultimatum to decide on what he wants... Whatever he would have decided was good for her in anyway....,Then she just chose to carry the burden of the pending confession..by giving herself maximum amount of pain...

As for this, I think she is also bogged down by the guilt she feels towards her sister. Yet the goodness in her would not sit still, hence her half assed questioning about why he was marrying at all, much less Arshi. Which will also make her not voice out her expectations out loud I feel.

Bold- This is kind of contradicting though; her upbringing should not have made her this naive. Her mother was in the same position as her and faced the same taunts she is facing her entire life. Also, the fact that she has been judged and shunned for being a Najayaz Aulad should have prepared atleast enough for the possibility that people will always judge, yes she can be a little naive considering she had a protection bubble in the form of Ani, her friends and her mother but still the rest of her maternal family and Ani's family still judged her.

As for how the general world works and her learning curve, I agree.

Yes...like her guilt , feeling of getting stuck in the loop and fear of ending up like her mother....not wanting the tag of home-wrecker everything made sense to me...but not this....

She was the woman who had stated clearly to Ani how she is going to name called and character assacinated....but now suddenly this much naivety ...where did her awareness go....

She is humiliated in worst possible way by Guruji's wife but still she is not leaving... I don't understand such writing....

Baaki I also agree regarding this being learning experience.....

Exactly....both of these are very very complex characters...if you asses them emotionally....Both of them carrying the guilt and baggages of their past , their upbringing and creating invisible jail for themselves...that are suffocating both of them equally...

In fact the storyline is very complex... Not a mere story of two-timing...it is a story of two characters and their lives interwoven in extremely complex circumstances beyond their control.....

And yes.. that's why she is frustrated..Even after all the planning , plotting still Jhanak is there in Ani's heart...She went away without anything yet taking everything..Haar ke bhi Jeet gayi....woh...

You know in all this; this thought crossed my mind. Shrishti is clearly a narcissist. And the only difference I felt with the change in actresses is she changed from a Covert Narcissist to an Overt Narcissist. I don't know what the change in direction will bring about. But if this is what the current actress who is playing Shristi was given the cue to do/ her take of the character, she is actually doing a very convincing job of it.

Only if the makers lessened the negativity. I wonder if they are trying to make it too realistic lol.

bold1: But she was shown that way, and it did convince a few audiences. I know, you know, we all know, what she is... but the characters of the show do not know what she is, especially anirudh. So she is convincing to them what I meant not to us. That is why lot scarier as she can use this emotional understanding to justify herself. And that is why I said Ani has tough days ahead. Because he is an emotional fool and very caring she will use that to her advantage. Anirudh is a master manipulator based on reasoning. Arshi is going to be an emotional manipulator ... The tables have turned here ... the manipulator is going to be the victim now and the victim is going to be the manipulator.

bold2: Yes... how do I put this, anirudh can also blame her, you are correct and look less dumb than he was shown. They gonna shoe him like that for good amount of time, to justify arshi's actions... and to show J what ani is living with... The arguments were not completely baseless but they were surely exaggerated,... ex, you mentally harassed 🤣 me lol that was all, her playing victim as always... everything that happened to me is because of you ani and because of Jhanak... kal ko if she chocks while eating food, she will blame it on Ani saying you made my life miserable, so i was thinking about you and chocked on food!! 🙄

Bold3: yes ... and that wont happen until arshi does something to Ani on a personal level...

I don't know the show has become a bit predictable now for me. I am happy to be proven wrong but it's very clear to me that Jhanak's motivation/confession is going to be Ani's suffering.

Bold4: that is the part I am happy about .. we can now bash her all we want as she is no more dangling between good and evil...
