If that's the writer's intention then its not working. Its armaan's character that is resonating with people. He made a huge mistake and he is owing up to it. Abhira trying to be a mahaan is so out of character and doesn't make sense. One of the few characters who understood the Gaslighting treatment that armaan got from dadisa and family, maybe she is doing it because she knows armaan still wants to be with his family but for what reason. They ll always treat him like an outsider and it is evident with the return of rohit, the true heir according to them.

In this gen, it's the hero who is having a character development and a fl who had solid principles but day by day becoming like manjiri ma's bahu.
