GK is popular but everyone hates majboor

The fact is, everyone is watching this show out of habit and to have a laugh at the utter stupidity show.

Rupali Ganguly, by herself is also popular. Probably the most well known amongst the cast of this show.

The show is also airing on the channel with maximum Trps and has permeated public consciousness to some extent, regardless of the plot or other characters.

Also, the character of Anupamaa has a huge almost cult-like fan following amongst doormats and tissue paper community. Her actions and bhashans contain great learnings for those wanting to manipulate, blackmail and scam others. So it will continue to remain popular

If they wanted to cash on his popularity, they could have shown him as a strong alpha businessman for some time who takes no nonsense from anyone and thinks that he has wasted a lot of time in being a loverboy.

But he keeps getting more and more Majnufied, and has now literally become a Sadhu. How is that any good use of his persona?

The show will survive without GK as well. There is nothing in Anuj to write home about. They should have stuck to their initial plan of ending his character in 3 months. Now, because they have to accommodate both vanraj and Anuj, Anupama's character is butchered. To uplift Anupama, Anuj's and everyone else's character is butchered. If Anuj's death could lead to Anupama's growth then so be it because clearly they arent interested in showing her growth along with him.

I watch this show for sheer entertainment every morning, also for time pas, because I get up way too early, nothing for GK or RG, and 3-4 episodes he hasn’t been shown, fir bhi log dekh hi rahe hain, uske naa hone se ab koi fark nahi padta he is ruined forever.

He is just a broken side table now - basically a useless piece of furniture.
