I changed my decision of not watching Patthan, after a week of its release, based on its blockbuster boxoffice status..
And later regret , with a massive headache from boredom, right after watching it in the cinema.
When did Pakistan start releasing Bollywood movies in cinemas, lol?
OT, I'm more concerned about word of mouth than box office numbers. If people on the forum are raving about a movie or the reviews are great, I'm more likely to watch it. Though, in the end, I pretty much watch everything anyway.

who lives in pakistan?
Sometimes. But I still don’t rush to cinemas. I see it later if anything
No, box office doesn't matter.
Story matters. Unbiased reviews matters.
Sarfira trailer was good. Am interested to watch but time constraints.
Based on reviews here, went for Rocky Rani.. regret it. Story was crap. Some points in it was really put off.
I never cared about the Box Office. Only if the film has awesome reviews, I watch it, or else I skip it.
Even in the forum, I have never talked about Box Office.
If a movie's making waves at the box office and piques my interest, I might watch it depending on my mood.
Take Kalki for instance — I’ll probably check it out once it hits Netflix or Prime, considering it did so well at the box office and got great reviews. It looks like another well made mythological fiction like Baahubali and RRR. If Kalki hadn't made waves? I doubt I'd care.
I also keep an eye on movies starring my favorite actors, as long as the theme or trailer grabs my attention, no matter how they perform at the box office.
And, of course, movie recs from a friend with similar tastes hold a lot of weight too.
Yes. I don't watch movies that earn too much money.
Sabne toh dekh hi li, main dekh ke kya karungi.
WOM really, not BO
But both are interlinked. A movie with usually good WOM will fire at the BO and generate hype for general public
I watched Bahubali 2 in theaters purely because of the hype. Becuase literally everyone around me had watched it and was hyping it to the sky
