Thank you sooo much
It means soo much....
Yes... it doesn't explicitly tells on your face about Ani's childhood trauma or PTSD..
But they have given hints here and there regarding it...but have not explored it..
I don't know why....may be they are not educated enough to show it with sensitivity....or may be someday in future...
Ohh you like East of Eden...!!
Ohh I am glad that I could touch a nostalgic part of your life....
It is a beautiful feeling...
Enjoy
Italic - Hmm I would say more of a Steinbeck fan
Though I read him early in life, I only understood his writings laterโฆhis prose could pass for poetry at times ๐
Of Mice & Men and Grapes of Wrath especially
Gut wrenching novellas of the times it was written in but timeless really
East of Eden for the human and humaneness that we constantly seek in us - I guess!!
Bold -possibleโฆ in a way, they could also have challenges in the medium too
I actually like it if the writing is understated, allowing us to draw inferencesโฆ donโt care for too much monologuesโฆ. But I know sometimes it is necessary for a scene in this mediumโฆ
Particularly in Aniโs case, the lack of exploration could be intentional for more people to make sense when the arc of the character grows ( Sab kuch writers par nirbhar hain)
