Sorry to barge in here, my friend
.
I didn't know if what is mentioned here is real or sarcasm
If it is sarcasm, please ignore this free ka gyaan
. If it is real, and you really like Ruhi and this is how you see Abhira, Armaan equation, I apologize in advance and let you have your opinion
But hear me out if I may......... I felt that the writers were totally off yesterday to have Ruhi come and give some gyaan to Abhira. The one who only a couple of days ago threw Armaan (her gehra pyaar) under the bus and expected to kill Armaan, Abhira relationship forever. She felt that she can't bend and twist Armaan anymore as he stood his ground at the mandap
and so hoped Abhira will do what she wanted. The one who is irritated, peeved and salty that Abhira didn't fall for her machinations and returned to PH. She was giving the lecture as an elder sister to a wayward younger sister spoiling her life. OK, I will move on and make peace with it
. May be her P naanu's kwhaish poori ho gayi, for sadbuddhi to both Ruhi and Armaan
.
The above mentioning of Armaan- Abhira and how Armaan is now scared/guilty of what he has done to Abhira and somehow that killed the vibe of the relationship and Abhira= Daadi and Vidya bothered me.
I am all for having unconditional relationships. While Armaan did have a free and comfortable relationship with Abhira, a lot of that stemmed from the fact that she didn't need to be appeased by him, she is dependent on him. He treated her as his ward, somebody who is less worldly wise
, insolent person tagged to him. I may not be too fair when I say that, as we saw him being affectionate with her, doing things for her. But, emotionally speaking he had set very clear boundaries with her when it came to his personal matters- Ruhi
He didn't tolerate even small miscommunications with his family- daadi, maa or Rohit. So, he took all liberties with Abhira to know choti-badi baatein, not that she minded and gave everything whole heartedly without any conditions
.He also took liberties to erupt on her and took out all kinds of frustrations on her, very freely
. But, when it came for him giving back to her, that was not the case, that is if we agree that a relationship is a give and take
From his side, what he gave Abhira is very conditional(I am not talking about money etc., strictly speaking emotions only)
So, if he feels guilty now for how he treated her, that is what a nice person with a conscience should feel like, right? He can have his freedom with her, where he is not vying for anything, but to get there, he should also be able to give freely. For that to happen, she needs to be trusting him. I think this is where they are now. He is trying to convince her about his integrity(which by the way is completely uprooted by himself) and sincerity about his relationship with Abhira.
We also need to remember that Abhira is very aware of his mind set and dynamics with his family, his sense of misplaced guilt. With his personality, he would have been immensely guilty for Abhira's mother's death too, had she even harped a bit about that.
Despite knowing his personality and his weakness, she never used it to her advantage. Not even when he threw her out of the house, knowing she has nowhere to go, means of survival, she didn't once bring up the topic
. If I remember right, she even mentioned that it is entirely her mom's decision to intervene and fate took its course and him being there is a coincidence in the cruel khel of kismet. This attribute of hers where she lets him be without any conditions, is what made him have the relationship he had with her
Now it is his turn to provide the same comfortable space with him to her
I don't want to even go there at how Ruhi, daadi and Vidya used that weakness, we all witnessed it in great detail
He now broke free of daadi's clutches, Vidya seemed to have turned around and Ruhi doesn't have that influence over him anymore to twist him against Abhira
Finally, Armaan Poddar had come of age
and it is a good thing
I am now tired of the lawyer black and white outfits. Can we see something else please?
Please ignore if this is not what you meant at all
