Satanic Verses should be made into a movie / limited series

Now that the world is making progress socially and also with technology such as AI, this should be made into a movie. Timing is everything and it seems that the timing is perfect for this powerful and exciting work to be converted to a movie or limited series.

In so many ways it would be a perfect tribute to the author as well for the excellent work and research

Nope. No Bollywood director is brave or talented enough to adapt something as imaginative and complex as The Satanic Verses into a movie. They can only make stuff like Hamaray Bara or Kerala Story to appease their target audience. And no, you haven't read The Satanic Verses. It's too complex, both in subject and prose, for someone who thinks Hamaray bara is deep and calls it progressive lol

Satanic verses is banned. Like that BBC documentary on Modi. It's interesting how much Modi has in common with Ayatollah Khomeini. Anyway back to Satanic Verses, good prose can never be successfully turned into films, it happens rarely but sure , let's have something based on it . Why not ? If the Ramayana can be scrutinised so can the Quran. As they should be.
